“I had the pulled pork BBQ platter . The BBQ is delicious ! They give you large portions. The onion rings are the best I’ve had in a long time . The bake beans could be improved they taste like out of a can and not made fresh . They only offer one kind of slaw the vinegar which was good . My grandkids loved the shrimp! ! I would highly recommend this place ! !“

“Classic older style family Q joint. Clean, great food, decent portions, friendly laid back service. The hush puppies are tiny fun size balls and delicious. But, the dip is served warm in a small paper condiment cup. I like the bottles you can squirt or drizzle the dip onto the pups. And onto sandwich. Very hard to dip the teensy pups without immersing your fingers. That's the only thing I'd change but certainly not a show stopper. I'd recommend and would easily go again.“

“Just moved to Lexington/Welcome and pass Jimmy's almost every day. Been saying I need to try that place every time I pass it. Well I just got back from an out of town job and decided tonight was the night. First of all the staff is kinda rude lol. Kidding @ Peyton if I spelt it correctly. Awesome staff all around. Got the chopped bbq platter and had Peyton pick my sides. Smoked mac and baked beans. Food is great thanks.“
“We are used to Florida style bbq that is not chopped and heavily smoked but had to try this since it’s so close to our campground. I ordered the weekend special bbq plate that had chopped pork and a drumstick/thigh piece of chicken, came with slaw and fries. Hubby got a cheeseburger and we shared a side of fried okra. Like I said it’s different than what I’m used to but still pretty good. Prices are reasonable as well and everyone was friendly. If we we’re staying longer we may have gone back but we’re leaving in the morning.“

“CELIAC KNOWLEDGEABLE | GLUTEN FREE BREAD | LOTS OF LOVE🌸 **As someone with celiac disease, finding a place to eat out safely is incredibly rare BUT Bridgett’s Kitchen is truly a blessing.** Eating out has always been stressful for me because of the risk of cross-contamination, but from the very first visit, I felt completely at ease. Bridget and her staff are not only kind and welcoming, but they’re also extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease and gluten-free needs. They understand the seriousness of it not just offering gluten-free options, but taking every step to make sure it’s safe. They have gluten-free bread, a surprisingly large variety of GF-friendly menu items, and most importantly, they prepare my food separately and carefully. They even enter my order *first* to make sure it’s made before any of the other food hits the grill. Bridget herself always comes out to say hi and check on my husband and I, it’s just another reminder of how much she cares about her customers. The food? Absolutely delicious. Whether you're gluten-free or not, everything I’ve had has been full of flavor and made with love. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and the entire staff treats you like family. And while I can’t personally enjoy the peach cobbler, my husband swears it’s the *best* he’s ever had hands down. That’s saying something! As a celiac, I can confidently say I’ve never felt safer or more cared for at a restaurant. Bridgett’s Kitchen has taken the stress out of dining out for me and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for. If you have dietary restrictions or just want amazing BBQ with heart, this place is a must-visit!“
