It is conveniently located at the beach on the main road, Ford Macon Road en route to the Circle and other Atlantic Beach public shorelines. Beachgoers can shop local and stop in for something refreshing and will love colorful Sub Tropics - a sandwich, wrap and smoothie spot that's located in the heart of Atlantic Beach, just off the Atlantic Beach Causeway. I love what one review on google said, "cheerful customization from the chief, Charles." I also added a pic of some dolphins we saw. Be kind to the animals tho and be sure pick up all of your trash while at the beach. Stop in to SUB TROPICS for a treat on your next beach vacay.“

“McDonald's is what is all over, but sometimes is tourist driven locations with a seasonal based economy you may not get the best McDonald's has to offer as much of the staff is probably seasonal. I can say that the Atlantic beach location does not suffer from this, and maybe benefit as the staff was extremely nice and even my young nephews (McDonald's officianados) exclaimed how good the fries were as soon as they began to eat. That showed me right away we were dealing with a good fast food restaurant thst stayed on top of putting out fresh product!“

“My husband loves DQ, we make frequent stops while traveling especially while at Atlantic Beach at this location. They have the best cones. I don’t know what is different about their ice cream here but it is creamy and more tasty.
Little girl that waited on us this week , we went every evening, was great. They were lined out the door and she was efficient and quick all with a smile. She needs a raise!“

“It is a typical Subway shop. Our sandwiches were good. We had to wait awhile because there was only one worker in the store. He had to ring-up the order, then prepare it. If paying with cash, this shop doesn't accept bills above $20. They also don't do BOGOs.

Parking: It is a parking lot for a strip mall shopping center. Handicap spaces are available. The lot is paved except for a small section which is cobblestone.

Wheelchair accessibility: The walk to the shop is concrete. There are no barriers. Access through the shop's door should not be a problem.“

“This restaurant has been here several years and I never had a desire to stop in, probably due to a really poor experience at different Taco Bell location. I took a chance and stopped by recently and was very pleasantly surprised, the facility was very clean, staff was friendly, the meal was pretty good for a chain restaurant and the price was reasonable. Been back a couple more times since with the same experiences and they haven't made a mistake on my order yet. It may not be "authentic" mexican, but for what it is, this location has made me a fan again.“
