“I was really in the mood for a Bacon egg and cheese sandwich tonight. Its not on their menu, but since they have the ingredients on hand they accommodated me. It was satisfying, crunchy and delicious. Center Grove is our little local place that never fails to give us a great little meal on those nights when cooking is the last thing we want to do.“

I live in Yadkinville, NC and the company I work for has a ant in Reidsville, so every time I go there, it's a standing policy that we are going to TFT for lunch! I always get chicken livers, mashed potatoes, (both with gravy of course), Cole slaw, and the big ole "cat head biscuits". I've had none better anywhere! I was there recently and two elderly ladies were sitting at a nearby table and hear me ordering. They asked if the livers were good and I told them they wouldn't be sorry if they ordered them. As I was leaving, one of them stopped me and thanked me for the recommendation. she said she hadn't had chicken livers in many, many years and they were extremely delicious and she would be ordering them again! Anyway, the service and food is always great and I'll be back every time I get to come to Reidsville!“

Now everywhere you go it's a rerun of the same thing over and over. Everyone in there was friendly and the food was simple but delicious. “We are in from the East Coast for our 14 year anniversary. The quality of food is amazing!! The cheese curds and the grilled shrimp were so good we stayed and ordered it twice since we didn't want to eat anything heavy on an early night. Highly reccomend. Both orders were the same quality as well which was extremely fresh. The teamwork is on point. You don't have to wait for 1 person. They all work together for all the customers during our visit. Need to check it out if your in the area. Within walking distance from The Marriot downtown as well.“

“A party of four go into Mayberry about 3:10 this afternoon! We waited about 5 minutes to even be seated! No one seemed to know what to do! We had to keep moving as we waited so that a lady could sweep! We ordered just banana splits and 2 ice cream sundaes! They were brought to us in a timely manner and that was it! Never saw the waitress again until I paid! My grandson dropped his spoon, I got up to get him another, no one at the counter! One waitress just walked by me to get out the door! No wait staff to be seen in the restaurant! Everyone was in the kitchen, talking! One lady was standing in the opening and I know that she could see me at the counter, but she chose to ignore me! I was ready to go behind the counter, but couldn’t see any spoons! After 3-4 minutes a lady comes out! We finish and get up to leave, no bill! I go to counter and wait probably 5-7 mins. Cashier has to ring up 2-3 ice creams and some man was trying to get his to-go order and he had been waiting a while! When the cashier finally ask me why I’m there, I tell her to pay my bill! She has no bill, can not find it on the cash register! She asked me twice where we were sitting! While she calls our waitress, she rings it up and I finally paid! Doesn’t give me my change back, I have to tell her what I gave her and how much change she owes me! First time in a long time that we’ve been to Mayberry and probably won’t be going back! Wasn’t very busy this afternoon, lots of employees just standing around/in the kitchen doing nothing!“

“Our group had a wonderful experience last night. We had a large group and had to wait a while for everyone in our group to show up. Thankfully our waitress Alexis was so kind, funny, and patient with our group. She was attentive and definitely cared about making the experience good. She offered advice on the menu, made our group laugh multiple times, and we will ask for her again.
The food was delicious and everything was clean and enjoyable. You could watch the game if you wanted, but also engage in conversation. There is a good balance in the atmosphere.
The host was also great, we didn’t get his name. (Tall, has a beard) He was really kind as well.

“Everything was great except the bill. Received two copies in your little folder. One for guest and one for restaurant. Neither one had a breakdown of charges. Are you hiding something? Each and every time a guest receives the bill, it should have a complete breaking down of all charges. Plus, once again, and it's happened 8 out of 10 visits, we are seated in the back at the smallest table in the restaurant. When we asked last night if we could move, since there were 2 larger tables already available, we were told no unless we went back through to wait line. This is not right. That little table isn't large enough for one person let alone two.“
