We had the BBQ sandwich — mouthwateringly yummy with that signature Eastern Carolina vinegar-based flavor — and the chicken tenders were huge, moist & perfectly seasoned 😋 Our server Charles was outstanding — cheerful, helpful, & super efficient. “Went there for the 1st time today with friends we had been going to MacD's for breakfast once a week but the new high melanin mgr has destroyed it! 2 weeks in a row they had NO drinks thats right no drinks except water and orange juice so it was time to move on. Well I want to thank the new high melanin mgr because Sunshine is head above what they ever were so thanks for running us off we found a REAL GOOD place to have breakfast! The biscuits are large and very good so eat here forget the others in the area this is the place.“

“My husband and I & My son ate there last night. It was my son's first time eating there & he just absolutely Loved it and wanted to give them a 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating! 😊 The service was great and our food was delicious and ready within 5-6 minutes after ordering. And that was dining in not going through drive thru. This was mine and my husband's 2nd time eating there & it was really good the first time as well. My son really liked the food that he told the lady who took our order all about it and everything. And told her that he became their #1 fan & how everyone should come eat there. He was so thankful for us taking him and wanted to keep telling the lady how pleased he was, that she ended up making him a chocolate milkshake at no charge. He was so excited ☺️☺️ and then me and my husband ended up ordering us milkshakes as well !!“

“Almost always have amazing food, great service, usually pretty clean considering kids running everywhere making messes and people being in and out back to back, I will say the last time I went and I know this is kinda out of the places control, down the slide with my toddler, and turned around and there was a kid maybe 7-8 on all fours chasing after my toddler, scared her to death it was kinda funny but I don't recommend the play set unless there's no other kids there, it's not very safe in general things like this have happened multiple times not the exact same obviously but different variations of it lol, over all a great place to eat“

“I grew up outside of Louisburg and go back from time to time to visit family. This location has been a few different shops over the decades and my parents told me to check out Granny's. Ive only had the burgers and fries there but they were all awesome, well made, cooked perfectly, and delicious. And the price for the combo wasn't bad at all. Great little local spot to stop in and get some hand-made food and enjoy some local culture.“
