“I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The food, dessert, and wine were all delicious and hit the spot. I sat at the bar alone but didn’t feel alone with good conversation and check-ins with staff. Fortunately the chef came out from the kitchen and I was able to personally thank him for such a good meal. I’ve been here before and had a wine tasting a long time ago so I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I highly recommend this jewel in Durham.“

Customer service was top notch. Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home the moment we walked in. “We were there for a dog adoption event and I decided to try one of their ciders. I got the Tart Cherry Cider and it was really good. The location is great, but the parking is somewhat challenging to find. I love that they had a lot of ciders, since I have Celiac and am gluten free. But I would love it if some of their beer offerings were also gluten free/gluten reduced.
The space itself is awesome. They have a large game room with a pool table and arcade games, that one of my teenagers really gravitated towards.
And the dog adoption event with Freedom Ride Rescue was great! So many lovable dog options, from young to old, and the fosters were very knowledgeable about the temperament and backstory of each one. Overall, a great experience!“

“A true rock club. What a great venue! Having grown up in the DC/metro Maryland area and having been a regular at The Black Cat, 9:30 Club, 8x10 and Ottobar - this place gets it! Its a perfect combination of dark, raw with an amazing sound system and the perfect size. Cool layout with the ability to get out of the performance area and into a more casual space if you need to. Hip bartenders and staff. Love it!!!!!“

The only thing they’re missing is a menu that is better curated to their wine list, even better light snacks than the chips or (in my opinion overpriced) prepackaged cheese would go a long way. Though to be fair, it does seem like you can bring your own food in so that is an option.“

“Best burger ever! Seriously. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. You're off to a great start when they make a point of asking how you want your burger cooked. And it's seriously good. The pickle chips are delicious as well! If you're in Durham, do yourself a favor and grab a burger!“

“Great customer service, very friendly welcome for two people from over the pond, we went there in 2024 and we enjoyed it so much we went back in 2025, recommend the breakfast bowl, my lovely wife enjoyed the egg, bacon and toast, the lasting memory for us were the great people that use it, keep up the good work and we will see you all again soon.
