“While at the OBX for our annual family vacation, we visited the CC for dinner. Always the best! The raw oysters were the best we ever had and the mignonette sauce excellent. Bring back the scallop puffs! See you next summer!“

“LOVE this dive bar! Small place with a great selection of seafood and drinks! Lives the atmosphere! All the locals make you feel welcome! Cool decor and clean. The servers/bar tenders are great!

“This was our second time here but with more family and it did not disappoint. This was our last night of our vacation. Staff was friendly, our waitress was on it. Best service. Food and drinks were great. Live music was awesome. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful vacation.“

“Avon’s Froggy Dog is always a must when we’re in the OBX. The food is amazing, the service is fast and cheerful, and Liza makes the BEST Bloody Mary on the island. Go for the Sunday Brunch - you’ll be glad you did!“

“Great a sandwich shop with other terrific options. Absolutely loved my House salad with cranberries, walnuts, feta and the optional added seared rare tuna bites (perfectly cooked). Also grabbed a side of sweet potato fries. OMHeavens were they crisp and tasty. Staff and service are superior going above and beyond in taking care of everyone in the place and keeping the shop and even the parking lot outside immaculate.“

“The young man working all alone tonight was amazing. I didn’t get his name, but dark hair and foreign accent. There were probably 20 people in line when we arrived. He served each of them efficiently and with a smile. When we were up to order, the owner decided to show up and take over. Fine, except that when he did, he started berating the young employee for “getting into this situation”. The only situation was the fact that he was left alone with a large volume of customers. We were really turned off by the owner’s behavior.“

“I love this restaurant. The staff are friendly and inviting. The food is obviously made to order with fresh ingredients. I got the roll your own tacos with blackened Mahi Mahi, a cup of shrimp and corn chowder, and sweet potato waffle fries. I also got baklava for dessert BUT that isn’t always available so I felt special especially because it was the day before my birthday.“
