“Stopped by to give them a try after work. Everything was high quality and they didn't seem to skimp on their selections, from homemade hot sauces to real sour cream! They even use good quality onions. My Fajita was delicious and the sauces were so complex! They were definitely more than just hot, they had a fantastic flavor. You can really see the quality in the things they cook here and my waitress truly seemed to care about my feelings toward the food. Here the food is a tribute to excellence. I also told the waitress when she asked if I needed a container for the cheese dip "I'll probably pour it overtop like a heathen!" To which she happily said "that's fine!" no judgement here lol! Very good. I will return!“

“Every single interaction we had at Limones was sincere, intentional, and well executed. We were greeted and given a place to wait in the lobby with an herbal seltzer. Our server Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and gave eloquent, robust descriptions of the food as well as his recommendations we requested. We shared the lardo pizza - you should too. This is cellophane thin pork fat rendered just so to melt into incredible cheese and oven fired crust. I would go back for more this second. Every part of our meal exuded that impeccable attention to detail. A ravioli type pasta with ham cornbread and peas was the perfect Appalachian/Italian pairing. The tiramisu was thick, custardy, eggy in the lightest but creamiest way. The pistachio gelato with pistachio syrup was incredible. My only wish would’ve been to try one more dessert but we did make a 9:30 reservation so you roll the dice. That panna cotta sounded wonderful. I could not imagine anyone being less than thoroughly impressed with Limones. My husband was a chef for 20+ years and felt every aspect of a great meal was part of our meal there. 10/10 Limones.“

“Amazing!!!! We came to this restaurant because they offer corn smut (huitolocoche) as a vegetarian option. \n\nI ordered the quesadilla with the corn smut and it was excellent!!!! I’ve never tried it before and am so excited to add this to my menu. We asked and they get it fresh from Mexico. \n\nI ordered two tacos as well. One nopal (cactus) taco, fresh and out of this world good. But what makes this place great is the food. It is more California Mex, which this former Californian misses.

Basic as it is, I almost always get the chicken burrito. Interesting blend of flavors, and just the right amount of sour cream to carry the entire meal.“

I am a big eater of chicken, and of quesadillas, and in my years of coming here I've never had a bad one, and almost always get an incredible one. Their prices are fairly high, and I don't know their whole menu, but I could have one every day here and never tire of it.
