“Stopped here for dinner. Wonderful outdoor atmosphere. We travel a lot on the weekends with twin toddlers, this place was great for them. Short ride off I-40. Hands down the best cheeseburger I’ve had in a while. Terrific salads and don’t skip the Brussel Sprouts, they’re a treat!“
“Amazing quality drinks for a very reasonable price :-) The bartenders are very attentive, even when it’s busy. The menu is well balanced (seems to change regularly?) and it’s obvious they put a lot of thought into making unique drinks. On top of all that, very friendly, cozy and welcoming atmosphere, great art and comfy seating :-)“

“I'd have to say this is one of my favorite bars in the country. Their liquor selection is extensive and the bartenders take great care in their craft. We have hosted multiple events here and Gary Crunkleton has gone above and beyond to provide the best hospitality to our guests every time. As someone not native to the area, this bar really made me fall in love with this little pocket of NC. Thank you Gary, Jared, and all who I've crossed paths with here. Stop in and have a drink, you won't ever regret it!!“

“Visited for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. Right off the bat, the employees were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Oh my goodness. So delicious. I need to go back. The garlic and garlic& cheese Naan bread is so soft and tasty. Had the chilly paneer as an appetizer. Outrageous!! I had a lamb Josh rogan or something like that. I ordered it to be mild and it was perfection. My husband had the lamb biryani and next time I am ordering that. Go treat yourself“

“The food was fine overall — the fig salad was very good and the affogato was delicious (with caramel sauce-delicioso). The grilled bruschetta didn't seem grilled — it was lightly toasted rather than the charred rustic bread I expected. And I thought there was too much piled on it. I didn't taste the pastas but my table mates enjoyed theirs. The service was superb— sweet and friendly and accommodating. Bravo for Massimo! He made the night enjoyable for us. Eating outside added to the ambience and felt a little more authentically Italian despite “Volare” playing in the background.“

“Giving a 2 star for the food, because although it was very good our food was lukewarm warm to warm at the most. I understand they were busy because of game day, but it still could have been much hotter than it was and we are not ones to complain.“

“This was a really cool find for my wife and I. We vibe inside was very relaxed. The sushi is amazing, we got the Diablo roll, yellowtail nigiri and the Chirashi. Everything was delicious and the cuts of nigiri were practically perfect. Really cool to see the owner walking around talking to patrons as well as bussing tables.
We will definitely be back.“
