20 Best Chinese Restaurants in Cary

“I’m a super picky foodie! I lived in China for 18 years, Denmark for 1 year and Los Angeles for 18 years. I’ve been to Xi’An myself back in 2019. Let me tell you, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. No matter which item you order, the item tastes authentic and delicious. Some of the dishes are very spicy, but they have so many options that are not. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You don’t have to visit Xi’An to try their best!

The food is exactly as you'd expect from a take-out: some dishes are better than others but all are pretty good

They were nice enough to call and see if I wanted egg in it, just in case I had a dietary restriction on it. Very thoughtful. I think this might be my new place for Chinese food in Cary.“

“Took a chance since we are not from the area, and boy, did we get lucky. Staff is friendly, and the food was amazing. Got the sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's chicken, and pork fried rice. Everything was great. Definitely puts other places to shame. Will be back for sure.“

“This is a small takeout spot with a handful of tables in a strip mall. The staff is kind, and it seems clean. The food is a little bland, but pretty good. We are partial to chicken and broccoli and sesame chicken. I feel like this is a 4 star restaurant, but I am going 5 because every Chinese takeout place around it is either bad or has no parking. This is our consistent takeout spot lately.“

“Great place I am just spoiled with awesome Chinese food near where I stay so I’d give the rating of food a 3 star. In my opinion the sauce they used for the sesame chicken I ordered was fantastic but the white meat chicken just didn’t absorb the seasoning enough to balance out. They are great people and I will definitely be looking forward to coming back and trying out some teriyaki chicken or crab rangoons for another review! :)“

“It's a typical Chinese restaurant in the USA. I've tried many of these, but I just LOVE their seasoning. Food is really tasty! Big portions, so definitely sharable. Their menu has a hotness grade by 🌶️, and one pepper is ok for me - I like spicy but can't even handle buffalo wings for too long. Took out one star because sometimes it's a little overcooked.“

“Hong Kong Chinese has the very BEST Hunan Shrimp I have ever had. And I have traveled to CO, TX, FL, MN and Europe. They turn over orders SO fast in their small kitchen. I suggest you take it home, to work, or a picnic table. No atmosphere. No room to diners. Very unsettling if you are accustomed to fine cuisine and a tidy spacious dining area. BUT THE FOOD......Is the best in the Triangle. Blessings little Hong Kong! Prices are very reasonable.“

I come here often enough that the owners recognize me and know what I'm going to get (it's always either sesame chicken or maybe some sweet and sour chicken if I'm feeling fancy). The portion sizes is great and the price can't be beat. If you're in the mood for classic Chinese take out that's not overly oily or greasy, tastes good on a consistent basis, and you love supporting small and family owned businesses, then this is the restaurant for you.

“The woman who works here is very nice. I order the same thing every time lunch Black Pepper Chicken and have never been disappointed. Good flavor, crispy chicken. I have tried the seasame chicken and did not enjoy it as much. Different consistency. Fast, efficient service.“
