“The food is delicious and authentic! The staff are nice, and one of them gave me a great recommendation for the tomato and beef noodle soup. I also loved the fried sesame balls - perfect texture and taste. It is a good restaurant to dine in, as it is cozy and calming. Will be back!“

“First time eating food from here. Did takeout. The fried squid was amazing and the sweet and sour fish excellent. My lemon chicken was okay, had better ones overseas and in Raleigh. But it does get the job done. The fried rice was also tasty and they put a good amount of sauces in bowls which is awesome. Overall would recommend eating from here“

“Pleasantly surprised!!!! We have not gotten takeaway from Panda Garden for quite a while now because it seemed that it was getting more and more expensive while the quality was getting worse. But last night we decided to give it another try, and we were impressed. The menu has expanded, the online ordering process is easier, the prices are appropriate, and the food was great! NY style Chinese food that's super nice for a movie night on a cold evening. We will put Panda Garden back in our rotation for takeout nights!“

“Celebrated Chinese New Year with friends on Sunday at Lunch time. We were the only table but they were very busy with takeout orders. We ordered Happy Family, General Taos Chicken. Seafood Delight, Chicken wings, steamed Broccoli, noodles and pork dish and shared. All of the dishes were very good and the waitress took time to take photos for us.“

“We placed a catering order with Peony for a work meeting for 14 people. We did it through EZ Cater. We are so pleased! Everything was correct, the food was labeled, everyone really enjoyed their selections. Peony even accommodated the special requests that were written in for a couple of the orders. Our order was ready promptly and they automatically included the extra sauces, condiments, crunchy toppings, utensils (including chopsticks), and threw in a couple complimentary half gallons of sweet tea. The staff was so nice, they helped me get everything into my car.

We allowed our staff to choose between the Office Kitchen Lunch and the Office Sushi Lunch - the prices are seriously affordable for such good food and for the generous portion sizes. Our all-in price per person was under $15/pp (that's with food, taxes, tip). We will definitely order from here again and highly recommend it!“

“We received the best service from Mariah this Sat. It was a party of 25 guests, she serviced use with 100% customer service. the food was great and we were leaving a funeral which was a bad day for all, we left feeling a littler lighter, due to the our server. She is a GEM.“

It feels cozy, the dated feel gives it an authentic-seeming vibe. “Moved to Durham in December 2023 and have been trying lots of restaurants in the area. This Chinese buffet is definitely a place I have come back to and recommend. Good prices for all the food you can get and friendly staff with a family friendly atmosphere. Food has always been good since I’ve been coming with a wide variety. Can be pretty busy on Sundays.“

“This is definitely the BEST Chinese/Szeuchan food in NC! It was SO good! The restaurant itself was in a bit of a tough shape, but the food was absolutely amazing and the service was super speedy and incredibly friendly. The ingredients were extremely fresh too! We ordered the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and the Pan fried pork dumplings! The shrimp in our dish was literally caught just earlier in the morning and the vegetables and pork was farm fresh. Expertly made Chinese food. (We recommend the dinner menu!)“

“I feel like some of the reviews can be ignored as they are just picky customers who walk around with high expectations instead of an open mind , yea the food quality isn’t top tier but at the same time your complaining about that when the portion size is literally double any where else; great bang for buck during lunch time 11 and some change I got 2 egg rolls and in the picture I already ate the other half it was so much food , side note if it’s your first time going out to try any Chinese and you don’t get sesame chicken you already dug yourself a grave if disappointment ; think of it as seasme chicken is like the abcs or 1+1 if they can’t do the basics why would you try anything else , so that being said I’d only trust their seasme and orange chicken the rest looks to risky lmao“
