“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! Thank you for making my daughter’ s birthday and my first time in Charlotte such a great memory!!!“

“Celebrated son’s milestone to adulthood, 20th birthday as a fellow pizza lover here. After reading reviews, we drove from SC and we all agreed it was the best pizza. The staff was friendly and professional. Only downside is the no indoor seating but the outdoor aesthetics was cozy.“

“First visit. Food was excellent and service was on top of things. Would love to give this 5 stars and come back often.

Only complaint was the acoustics. The crowd really grew after we got there at 6, and the noise grew steadily. It was mostly professionals and couples. I found myself talking louder and louder to be heard - even asking my friend to repeat themselves. The voices carried and echoed, so just general conversation was hard.

For reference, we were seated in the front corner, to the far left after entering from the door. Our whole side seemed louder than the other side, where the bar was. By the end, I couldn’t wait to leave.“

The young man at the counter was still gracious enough to serve us even though we interrupted their closing duties. We got the White Chocolate Pistachio and it was fantastic! “A few friends and I wanted to go out, and we had been to this Emmy Squared location before and had an amazing experience. This time we made a reservation because it was Valentine's night and when we arrived we were seated on-time. Everything that followed was less than satisfactory. 45 minutes after ordering, we were told our pizzas were on the way, but had not even received our appetizer. 20 minutes later, the appetizer arrived but no pizzas. The pizzas eventually arrived, and it was room temperature at best, it seemed that had been sitting for a while before being brought to the table. It did appear that the restaurant was short staffed and swamped with a flurry of walk in customers and take-out orders. No explanation for the delay or concern for our overall experience was given. I'm a pretty reasonable guy and understand places get busy, especially during a holiday, but no one seemed to care or have a sense of urgency about the situation. But a 10/10 on the Butternut Squash and Brussel Sprouts appetizer, make it a larger portion and serve it as a meal... it is delicious!“

“I got the Mac burger with bacon, tots on the side, & a vanilla milkshake! Everything was absolutely delicious! The proportions were perfect. The milkshake was thick, sweet but not too sweet, & had rainbow sprinkles!! The only thing I'd ask is to maybe put more bacon on the burger!! I will be back for sure!“

“Excellent service is a rare thing to find these days, but the Southpark manager, Sharon, and our server, Allie (sorry if misspelled) hit it out of the park Monday night. I had a crazy request, and she and Allie not only fulfilled it, they exceeded my expectations and we had a PERFECT date night evening. The food and the wine were amazing, and I will definitely go back again even if just for the truffled cheddar! It's exactly the kind of place you go when you want to chill, visit, and enjoy a nice glass of wine.“

We had great service from our server Noah, who was very quick to take our drink order and provided attentive service for our entire dinner. We both ordered a Chimichangas (my wife had the chicken and I had the beef). Both were delicious, well seasoned and served hot. (fwiw) noted the staff were sweeping and cleaning the restaurant tables quickly, after a table turned.“

“Had their house made bean burger with side of steamed kale. My niece had the portabella salad. Everything was delicious! 😋 Service was friendly and quick. Lots of options to choose from. Addition of rice mixed with beans on my burger gave it nice texture and moisture. Kale was steamed to just slightly wilted and sesame seeds were a good compliment to the flavor. Definitely will keep this on my list for place to eat next time I'm in Charlotte.“

“First, very large outdoor and indoor seating available. Over 50 or so brews on tap, as well as wine and liquor options. I had the steak burger with jalapeño slaw, which was ok. Burger was thin but tasty. Slaw wasn't any slaw I've ever seen, kinda dry. Overall, it's a better place to get a brew than food, in my opinion. Would definitely go back.“
