“Omg, food is AMAZING! I’m vegan and this is by far the best vegan food I’ve had in a long time from a restaurant. The owner/chef came out to bring me my food and she is so sweet. It made me happy to experience her and her food. She has gained a forever customer and I wish nothing but the best for her and her business.“

“This was hands down some of the best vegan food I’ve had. Been mostly plant based for about 7 years now. I’m so sad I didn’t find out about them sooner on my visit to Charlotte. But I will absolutely be back!!!

Adie was absolutely excellent in explaining the menu and sharing her favorites! (I gave her a personal to let her know how wonderful her recommendations were) The fries are delicious. Seasoning so so good! I had my mouth set on the biscoff cookie shake, they only had Oreo. I tried it but it was just ok. Highly recommend giving out bigger straws b/c it was a headache sucking that shake through lol. I also would recommend using coconut milk instead of oat milk. It just has an aftertaste whereas coconut not so much.

The best thing and the shocker for me and my non vegan friend, was the Carolina Hot dog. It left me screaming and then speechless. My friend even did a happy dance lol. We are contemplating taking another drive tonight before they close b/c I shared it with her as she was too nervous to get it, we want more lol. We both love hotdogs and I can’t say that I’ve ever had a really good vegan one. This was it!!! And honestly can’t tell it was vegan from the texture, to the chili, the special sauces, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

And the Philly cheesesteak came a very close second runner up. The bread stood up to the sauces. And they are saucey but I don’t mind it at all. Sautéed peppers, onions, the protein…this was just good clean food and not too much processed.

As a vegan chef (Mama Nicca’s Homemade Things) and someone who loves to be creative in this vegan world of cooking, this truly was OUTSTANDING. I will probably return every time I’m in Charlotte. I’m in PA and I wish we could have this on the coast. In this voice of my sister Tabitha Brown, VERY GOOD!!!“

“Delicious! My fave is Island Soursop and I just found it Friday at the Christmas show. I’ve had 1 daily since Friday and I’m obsessed. I also loved the Mango but honestly all the flavors I tried were delicious also. I feel great and hydrated plus the taste is incredible. I have several more to drink this week and will be getting more soon! Try it- you will not regret it!!!“

We had great service from our server Noah, who was very quick to take our drink order and provided attentive service for our entire dinner. We both ordered a Chimichangas (my wife had the chicken and I had the beef). Both were delicious, well seasoned and served hot. (fwiw) noted the staff were sweeping and cleaning the restaurant tables quickly, after a table turned.“

The service was warm and energetic as it gets and it’s clear they’ve won the hearts of many by the wall-to-wall cards from their community. My husband and I are from Atlanta and have had the chance to try a lot of Vietnamese food around Buford Highway and the greater metro— Lang Van crushes all of them in comparison. My husband’s pho was so balanced that he didn’t dare to add anything to it, it was already perfection. This gem not only has a wonderful atmosphere, phenomenal food, and an incredible staff— the price point alone is so reasonable. We can’t wait to visit again in the future and try the coffee amongst other yummy options.“

“We took our XL bully here after lunch on a Sunday and man, the staff was the best. We have seen so many people tell us our dog is too big to be in public, and this place not only allowed him, but loved him. All of the staff seemed to come say hello and they were so accommodating. Kat was awesome as our server, even though she had to wait to greet us for everyone else to greet our pup. We are so grateful for the afternoon and the love shown to our big boy. They love all pups, small to XL, so go visit them and let your dog get a little extra love ❤️“

“We held my daughter’s celebratory graduation dinner from UNCC at Barcelona Wine Bar this past weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! I planned the event far in advance with Tiana, their Sales & Events Manager, and she was thorough, communicative and handled it all like a pro, including a last minute change to the menu that she texted to me (smart). She arranged for printed menus with the event name (lovely detail!) and because they can’t include mussels, her favorite, on an event menu (understandable), they surprised us and sent her some anyway on the house. Our main server (I’m blanking on her name so sorry we love you so much!!) and our bar servers, Morgan and Justin (who we kept busy 🤣), should win personality of the year awards for their wit, humor, charm and skill (for instance, Morgan wowed us with his tapas plate stacking ability and made sure to holler in my Mama’s good ear when he spoke 🤣). It was great fun, and the food was DELISH!! Highly recommend for events and also looks like a fun place to just hang out!“

What’s more incredible are the people here. We had a huge mess up with uber eats (the driver specifically) and the restaurant took it upon themselves to work with uber to solve things for us. They are amazing and provide top tier service.“

We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! “What a Fantastic Burrito! The line moves fast and the experience is unique. Chris greeted everyone with a smile and explained the options and the process. This place has fresh meats and vegetables whether you get a burrito or bowl. The flavors blend well as you can taste the quality. I got a large burrito, there was so much food in one tortilla I was surprised it was able to close. I opted for a local root beer by Uncle Scott's and was pleased with how good it is. There is plenty of seating in the atrium above and it's no wonder everyone speaks highly of this place. Amazing place to get lunch.“

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“
