“I had been wanting to eat at a real country kitchen food, had been in some but haven’t found one that I satisfied.
Today, I found one: this Granny’s Country Kitchen in Claremont, NC
The ambiance was casual, family oriented, and food was very yummy, service by a young, pretty and efficient Cami, the reasonable prices made an amazing lunch!
I told my husband that I wished this restaurant was in our neighborhood.
Highly recommend to those who travel to this part, it’s a must stop for lunch or dinner, besides a great meal, we support the local as well.“

“The cheeseburger all the way are great, but for the first time since I’ve been ordering my order on Wednesday was two cheeseburgers all the way with a order of onion rings and a order of potato wedges as I was pulling out on the road to leave the parking lot I reached over and ate one of the potato wedges and they were cold The onion rings were also not hot. It was like they had been sitting there a while . The two cheeseburgers I ordered they were good. I was going to go back in, but I didn’t. I just brought it home and put it in the microwave and warm the taters and onion rings For the prices that are being charged for these they should at least been hot or at least warm. I will still continue to order from you, but do better next time, please“

“I have been coming here for years especially on Thursdays and Fridays!! I will just say I have never had a bad experience while eating here!! The food is good but wanted to brag a little on the waitress Lindsay that seems to always be there when I eat. She is always busy either serving tables or answering that phone but always checks on everyone!!! Is always super nice when she is able to have a 2 min conversation. When she isn’t there I seem to have issues with getting drinks or my order is wrong but that won’t deter me from coming back!!“

“We happened upon fresh chef and decided to stop and try it. The service was amazing, atmosphere is great, food was AMAZING we had gumbo and shrimp with grits which is something that’s usually hit or miss most places, but they nailed it and we will definitely be back. Shout out to Elaine who was so friendly!!!!“

“It was good, server was super cool, def great with people. I wish I could remember her name so she can get the recognition she deserves. She was mixed, mentioned she was going back to school. It was just her and a cool that also me toned it was his first day with his promotion to cook.

Everything was good my only complaint was the grill could have been cleaned a lot better for the amount of people and orders the were receiving (It was just us there at the time). The bacon was covered in the black grill cabon gunky stuff.“

“We were traveling through Hickory and decided to stop in. We ordered the crab cakes, calamari, and jumbo shrimp stuffed with crab meat. All were seasoned very well and delicious. The service was awesome. We live an hour and a half away, but the food was so delicious we are considering returning soon 😊.“

“A classic fish camp experience. You can't go wrong here. My original review was over 2 years ago. I have been going to Jones' all my life and it remains my favorite fish camp anywhere. I highly recommend the Flounder. They are famous for their slaw (sour) although I prefer the sweet slaw. The service is always excellent.“
