“First time at this particular Granny's location. I frequent the Hickory establishment, and they have he best breakfast around. My food was delicious, but a bit on the greasy side for my taste. Nothing bad about any of it, though I thought the fried pickles were quite overly salted from the kitchen. I'd definitely go back for seconds tho.
Dietary restrictions: Don't even try if a greasy country spoon isn't in your wheelhouse.
Kid-friendliness: My three year old didn't leave a crumb from her tenders and it's s welcome environment for the kiddos.

“The cheeseburger all the way are great, but for the first time since I’ve been ordering my order on Wednesday was two cheeseburgers all the way with a order of onion rings and a order of potato wedges as I was pulling out on the road to leave the parking lot I reached over and ate one of the potato wedges and they were cold The onion rings were also not hot. It was like they had been sitting there a while . The two cheeseburgers I ordered they were good. I was going to go back in, but I didn’t. I just brought it home and put it in the microwave and warm the taters and onion rings For the prices that are being charged for these they should at least been hot or at least warm. I will still continue to order from you, but do better next time, please“

“I have been coming here for years especially on Thursdays and Fridays!! I will just say I have never had a bad experience while eating here!! The food is good but wanted to brag a little on the waitress Lindsay that seems to always be there when I eat. She is always busy either serving tables or answering that phone but always checks on everyone!!! Is always super nice when she is able to have a 2 min conversation. When she isn’t there I seem to have issues with getting drinks or my order is wrong but that won’t deter me from coming back!!“

“Awesome place to eat, I am part of their delivery personal, they have ALWAYS treated me with the upmost respect and they are a down home country kitchen that's for sure, and their honey bun cake is absolutely amazing if you aint been there to get a piece your missing out, it hands down by far the best dessert ive ever eatten“

“There are so many, so let's be clear about which one we're rating: Fairgrove Church Road, Hickory, NC.
This is our best visit to a Waffle House. We were there late and the place was still busy. Our waitress was pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The cook kept up with the orders. The food was prepared as ordered and served hot. I had the "all-star special" which includes an egg dish and a waffle. They waited until I was finishing my eggs to bring my waffle! That is so thoughtful! Although they were busy, the seating area was clean. The men's restroom could have used some attention.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance layout is not good for maneuvering a wheelchair, especially a wide one.“

“We were traveling through Hickory and decided to stop in. We ordered the crab cakes, calamari, and jumbo shrimp stuffed with crab meat. All were seasoned very well and delicious. The service was awesome. We live an hour and a half away, but the food was so delicious we are considering returning soon 😊.“

“We had a great time, food was out fast and fresh. The vintage vibe and feel is not just a theme here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they care about the quality of food they serve. It takes me back to a time when people took the time to actually make their customers happy and treated them with respect. This is an important detail that unfortunately has been lost over time, and most large food chains and restaurants take their customers for granted these days. It's refreshing to see that is not the case here. Highly recommend this place! Take the time to come in and sit down, to really get the full experience and the benefits of what the 50s diners had to offer folks back in the day.“

“A classic fish camp experience. You can't go wrong here. My original review was over 2 years ago. I have been going to Jones' all my life and it remains my favorite fish camp anywhere. I highly recommend the Flounder. They are famous for their slaw (sour) although I prefer the sweet slaw. The service is always excellent.“
