I even had some of the "Pickiest" of guests tell us how great the food was which says a lot! We will use Derek and his team for other events in the future! “I thoroughly enjoyed my Bacon cheeseburger, the toppings were so Fresh! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. I lived in High Point all my life and had never heard of this spot. My daughter had the chicken sandwich and she was so impressed we're headed back to try breakfast . Great Service“

“I thought I would never again taste food like my Aunt Hattie made it, but today a friend took me to University Kitchen for lunch, and I had green beans, stewed cabbage, fried chicken livers, and cornbread. It was like going back in time to my Aunt Hattie's kitchen and once again tasting good old country cooking at its best. They have managed to keep those great vintage recipes alive, and I now have a new favorite restaurant. Everyone who worked there was amiable and on top of service. It was great!“

“The Loop serves as a great midweek light meal option when I don't feel like cooking, but the whole family can't decide on the same take-out option.

With that being said, I do NOT recommend drinking the water here. Something is definitely not quite right. It tastes like melting plastic every single time.

From the moment we walked in, we were met with warmth and professionalism, and that only grew stronger as the visit continued.

Let’s talk about the food. Everything we ordered was excellent. The French toast was perfectly sweet with a delicate texture that still felt hearty and satisfying. The gyro was absolutely loaded…overflowing with fresh toppings and meat that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was almost too big to handle, but every bite was worth it. And the baked steak? Succulent, tender, and packed with deep, rich flavor that had us savoring each bite.

But the real star of our visit was the service. Brandy, our server, went above and beyond. She was incredibly attentive and made us feel like we were the only table in the place. “My husband and I had the pleasure to attend my cousin’s reception held at JH Adam’s Inn/Cristina Gray’s Restaurant & Bar Friday evening. We stayed on the property as well and found the check in process to be quick and easy, ALL of the staff were friendly and accommodating! Our room was very well stocked and clean!! As my aunt said, it is a hidden gem of High Point and it comes highly recommended!!“

“Found this place by accident while waiting on my Dad at the VA. Me and my sister love a diner and local joint, so we had no second thoughts. We loved it!! The pancakes 🥞 were delicious 😋. “Wonderful customer service started at check-in and continued throughout the stay! The Bistro morning staff 3/19 was warm and welcoming! Very clean rooms, close to downtown and interstate. Only took 10 minutes to get downtown all weekend which was nice. Parking was great, you can park on whatever side of the property you are staying on. Would stay again!“
