“We come here every summer for a convention. Three food is always got and tasty and they have lots of different options. We are a group of 1,100 and they managed to serve us all 3 meals a day for a week. The staff is friendly and always very helpful.“
“Update: okay so I'm updating my review as there are none after mine that aren't more than 4 years old. The food is great, the waitstaff are great! They are sometimes short but they still give the best service possible. The restaurant itself is very clean and they're always playing music. This is the place to go on WCUs campus if you just want a casual sit-down place to eat with your friends!“
“We had great time at Haywood. The staff was friendly and attentive the whole time we were there. The food was outstanding. We had the 3 meat combo with double babyback ribs (only on Saturdays), brisket, sweet potato with honey butter, collards along with a chopped pork sandwich with potato salad. The ribs were fall off the bone good and brisket just as superb. I don’t normally use bbq sauce but the sweet red sauce took me back to a head country type sauce i grew up with. I would recommend this place if you are near by or far away. I’m picky with bbq being from the Midwest and this place nailed it!“

“We had a wonderful time hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride at Happs Place. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the menu options perfect for the event. The service was efficient, polite, and on-time. We also had an afternoon lunch in the back where there is a putting green and other activities outside the bar. Dereck and his team are real pros. This place is a treasure and highly recommended.“
“Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good selection of seafood prepared a variety of ways, not cramped at all but usually busy. Dining available indoors or outdoors along a gorgeous mountain stream, complete with patio heaters and firepit. First class dining experience!“
“Easily the busiest place in Sylva. You wouldn't expect to find a fairly popular brewery here but it's located right off main. Offering food and live music too. Took the bartender forever to even pay attention to us though. Sat right at the bar and watched him help 3 or 5 people before us. So I guess if you have nothing else to do in Sylva then you just come here because it's the most active place in town. Overall would be back cause the server was nice when he did come over.Cool open atmosphere and they have lots of merch“
“My first time visiting this establishment but it won't be my last . Prices were good for the amount of food they give you. Food arrived hot and prompt. Beverage never stayed empty and the server was very nice. Decorative antique ambience. But I wish the parking lot was bigger !!!! Great job guys.“
“We just loved LuLus. When you walk in you're in this relaxed but bustling main dining area with a cosmic light up petite bar area with a handful of stools and an airy feel. We passed on indoor dining and headed out to the back deck which was open aired and quite quiet. The food was so good, just wish we couldve tried more We quickly agreed to share the fried green tomatoes and Trout po' boy, and Wow did it deliver. We got the Trout loaded with fries and rings and it was Very fresh and the FGT were out of this world. I Cant wait to revisit this Gem in Sylva when I'm back in town. “Great, legit burger. Nice sized patty (over 1/3 pound probably). Cooked well done. I had the blue cheese burger, well made. Fresh cut fries, double fried. Fast service. The atmosphere is good, it’s a food truck, shares an outdoor seating area with Innovation Brewing. Seating is over a river, which is nice, although there is a tiny bit of road noise, which is only reason I gave the 4. Otherwise a perfect score for a legit burger without having to go to a steakhouse. Burgers in the $13-$15 range. Overall, highly recommend.“
“It's a nice place with a nice atmosphere. The food is good. I got the original Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It was good but quite plain tasting. To be honest I was a quite disappointed that it did not have cheese whiz. I think it has provolone, which is a good cheese but it has no flavor when paired with the intense flavors of the meat, onion, and peppers. If they want to call it the original Philly Cheese Steak they really should be using cheese whiz.“
“I love going to this restaurant and enjoying the fresh hot,fast, and friendly service. The food is awesome but the servers are what makes it stand out the most I’ve been here more times than I can count and my most favorite times going is when I have Kim of Alaina as my server they truly know how to make you feel welcome and taken care of they are very well mannered and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best. They are always smiling as well and to see someone smile enjoying what they do just makes the whole experience. Y’all keep up the excellent work. I will be seeing y’all soon.“
“Cute little diner setting and the food was AWESOME. Service was great! My fiancé and I came to Collowhee to do some camping and we intended on buying groceries to cook while we were there.. We never touched our cooler once! We ate there breakfast, lunch, and dinner the entire weekend. Food was awesome and fresh, and a huge variety. The breakfast was awesome too!!! Will be my go-to whenever we’re in town!!“
