“Mint is the best restaurant in the Boone/Blowing Rock area! The food is fantastic, most ingredients from India. Cucumber salad and hot cauliflower appetizer, the saag options are all amazing. The service is attentive, friendly and professional. Aman is the best. He remembers us and makes us feel special plus he makes the most delicious drink - Mango Mojito. Atmosphere is nice, and to top it all off it’s a great value.”

“Katie and I went to Boone, NC over 4th of July this year and found several great local places. We found a local coffee shop Hatchet Coffee and it was amazing. Their staff was friendly and helpful with all our questions……the coffee was great!! I just ordered more coffee last week and received it today…….never have I ever gotten a personal Thank You note from a company!!! I will always be a big fan…..support local businesses!!! Thanks again!!!”

“If you are looking for a cool vibe? This is the place. The food is fantastic!! The owner makes the best hot wings in NC and that's the truth. Football Sunday this is the place Wings and great draft specials. Also if you have that family who cant agree on where to eat. This place has something for every appetite. The bar atmosphere is amazing ..shots at the bar, getting crazy or just chilling with some boonshine chatting over a beer. Also didn't see any news channels! politics are not in this restaurant its all about good times and a good meal. These folks got it right...love the staff. If you go please order the buffalo wings and homemade Bleu cheese...and order a lasagna my Gosh, if you put the food on your forehead, your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get the food”

“Loved the mother daughter weekend R&R all inclusive retreat. We enjoyed yoga, meditation, massages and short hikes. Food was good. Room was nice and clean but a little warm (no AC). Only complaint is the yoga equipment room smelled bad, like dirty socks. Yoga mats, pillows and seat backs were noticeably dirty and no one wiped them down after use. It was a major turn off and hard to overcome with meditation but we tried. I came home with Covid.”

“They have great food, a great atmosphere and great staff. Our daughter has food allergies to egg and peanut. The staff were VERY accommodating. There are no eggs or peanuts in the ice cream. They made sure to open a new container, change gloves, and get a new scoop to avoid any potential cross contact with peanuts from the other area as well. We felt very cared for and she was able to enjoy her amazing ice cream safely! 10/10 recommend and will be a permanent stop each time we visit Boone or Blowing Rock.”

“Very good west coast style IPA, called Booneshine IPA. Good food menu as well. Except French onion soup, don't get it. It comes without cheese on top and the toasted bread on the side has something other than butter on it, nasty tasting.”

“I was very disappointed. Usually their pizza is excellent this was over cooked and not well made. We ordered it from a delivery service have my granddaughter got a flat bread pizza that she couldn’t even eat she said it was disgusting. Just a suggestion maybe you want to use the mini chocolate chips in your cannolis I think they would be much better than trying to eat the big ones with the cheese mixture. At least they were good. Their house vinaigrette was very good at least I enjoyed the salad!”

“Halal Japanese restaurant. The chef and most of the staff is Indonesian. We were so happy to find this restaurant in a beautiful town. The staff was very pleasant, the menu was easy to understand, the service was very fast and the food was great. The filet mignon was probably the most tender beef I have ever had and very flavorful. Definitely give it a try.”
