“This restaurant is in a strip mall that completely misleads the quality of this food. I just ordered some to be delivered, it was brought in a paper bag. Think of your seafood cooked in a flavorful soup, then ladled into a plastic bag, then into another plastic bag, then the bags are placed in a paper bag. Seems sketch, right? Probably the best seafood I've had in Durham. Never judge a book by the cover. This food was EXCEPTIONAL. It's tasty, it's messy, and it's worth it.“

“I love Mayflower the food is delicious. I moved to Durham, NC in the 90s and I am still a fan. Thank you Mayflower. I only and always get Popcorn shrimp with fries. Delicious great customer service and the wait time is 5-10 minutes hot and fresh. Thank you.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp outside for wheelchair access. And there is plenty of room on the inside.“

“Overall great. Great food, cocktails and service. Food came out fast. Just a few suggestions: need window treatments as the sun was beaming in through the large windows on a 100 degree day. We had to move. The bars on the entrance door were black steel and hard to touch due to the heat. Was noisy and hard to carry on a convo due to the high ceilings. Could use some sound proofing.“

“This was our first Greek night experience with you all, we have been several other times and especially when company comes to town, everyone loves it. I will say we both were disappointed with service last night, sat for hours bed 10 minutes and finally asked who out wait staff was and the girl told us know one help yourself to buffet??? Really what about drinks and to know to give us the right bill? When we did come back from the buffet a waiter from the bar introduced himself and only seen him that time and when we flagged him down for our tab. Just seemed and appeared chaotic, we had no idea that the hot food was outdoors until we heard people in the line inside with us talking about it. So in future with these types of events would be nice for wait staff to explain where things are and take drink order! Other than that everything was wonderful as usual and definitely look forward to another Greek night next year or sooner!“

“20250204 The Piney Point Grill is inside the Hilton Doubletree restaurant. So it was convenient in that I was staying at the hotel.
For dinner, I had a salad and grilled salmon with rice pilaf, all of which was good.
For breakfast, I had scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage, coffee, and orange juice off the buffet. The buffet may have been a bit overpriced for what I had; nevertheless, everything was warm/hot without being overcooked.“
