“Dined with some friends last night. I had the blackened Cajun chicken with green beans and it was great! Other dishes at the table included shrimp and grits and the seafood pasta, which both had good reports (and smelled amazing). Our waiter (his name escapes me) was very attentive and we received our food pretty quickly. We will be back!“

“We have been several times now, and the food and service are 5 star quality. We mostly get breakfast food, and of all it the pancakes and waffles seem to be the favorite with our group. The staff are fast and efficient but still very friendly. We will be back as often as possible.“

“My husband and I were traveling through Elizabeth City and stopped to eat dinner. It was quiet, few customers. The booths were small, table sticky, food and trash under the table. But we chose to stay but sit at a table with a tablecloth. Our waitress, Hannah, was phenomenal! She anticipated our needs, very responsive and friendly! The food was very good. I would just suggest cleaning more thoroughly. We would go there again. Hannah made it a great place to ear.“

“Found this great place on Google maps on our first visit to Elizabeth City. We loved it! Staff was so nice and friendly. Service was great Food was just the appropriate amount so we didn’t feel overstuffed. The iced tea was delicious as was the turkey Reuben and Caesar wrap. Prices were just right and it’s nice you get a bag of chips with the sandwiches. So glad we found this restaurant. We will definitely come back again.“

“It was a rainy Friday night, I missed my usual fish spot, so I drove past Captain Ds and thought no...then made a circle back, and I am so glad I did! I have not eaten Captain Ds in years. It was fresh and delicious!!! And the service was great!! Cheers to the two young ladies working extremely hard to service all the people. I got the Fish Sandwich and fries with 5 extra shrimp...plus the CHEESECAKE FACTORY OREO CHEESECAKE!!! OMG, DELICIOUS!!! My only thing was my fries were cold by the time I got home, no worries still a really great meal!“

“We were passing through the area and were craving milkshakes so we stopped in for lunch. The server was great and the food was decent, but we were very disappointed to find out they didn't have any ice cream for milkshakes?! In an area where there isn't many options, it serves the purpose without being outstanding.“

Dietary restrictions: My Bestie has Celiac disease and cannot have gluten. She ordered eggs, bacon and hash browns. Somehow, she got sick after that.“
