“Beer is ridiculously priced but great venue for beach volleyball and Frisbee golf. Hope they have a good band, the might I was there the singer was sounded like open mic night and you had to go inside to escape it as the speakers are really loud. One food truck was OK, one decent. The place was packed, like children everywhere, so really family friendly. Def worth a visit!“
“We (party of 6) stopped in for lunch. No one was disappointed. Great drinks, food, atmosphere and staff. Lacey was the BEST !!! She helped with drink choices, was very friendly and easy to talk to. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Ashville.“
“Great little place with a better than average selection of beer and wine and a great food truck. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable“
“The best and most interesting bar I’ve been to! Great music and a nice outdoor setting to relax in and meet new people. The indoor space is unique and very inviting. The bartender Emma is fantastic, sweet, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend ??“
“Awesome selection of ciders and meads! Have been to numerous cideries but Black Mountain is by far the best for quality and selection. Great hosts!!!“
“If you like IPAs this is one of the two places to go in Asheville (the other being Burial). Off the beaten path but if you want really good beer this is a destination. IPAs, sours, stouts, seltzer, smoothies etc are available. When researching the brewery scene for my visit this time I chose 2 for the beer offerings and atmosphere. One was One World (speakeasy vibe and 17oz pours) and New Origin (for IPAs offered). Was not disappointed at either. The IPAs at New Origin were on point with flavor, aroma and body. I tasted both stouts offered and took some home to share with my friends. Their space is very open with an airy, modern feel. This is a brewery that I will definitely visit again. Only beef was that they do not offer flights at this time but they do offer 1/2 pours.“
“This place is cute but dang when it’s busy it takes forever to get drinks. So that’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I think they need to figure out a way to crank out the line a little faster. Otherwise, it’s cute inside and out with some yummy drinks. I had the brass monkey and a cider. Both nice! Staff was friendly too.“
“Relaxing. Outdoor taproom and picnic tables in the shade. Beer was great. Had the pale ale and brown ale. Both were fantastic and I took home some cans. They have everything on tap except the nitro stout in cans. Bluegrass music in the background. Would def recommend. Bathrooms are portable toilets. They have a big stage and music on Sundays but we weren’t there for the music. 100% recommend for some relaxing beers. You drive behind the buildings and park in the field.“

“First perk was plenty of parking. The whole location was very impressive upon walking in. All of the staff were great and happy to be there. This is different from the original Burial locations and they nailed the theme here. Plenty of great options to drink, including wine and mixed drinks. The food selection was good and mostly well priced. Our favorite part was exploring the property and it's rich history. So much room for gatherings big and small. Next time I would like to do a tour though.“
“Love it. Walked in this afternoon and was greeted by a very friendly bartender that took awesome care of us. After a couple of samples from a broad selection we settled in on some beers and went next door to order some Q, which was in itself excellent. Anyway, great time and will be back next time I'm in Arden.“
“Wife, our doggo and I stopped in to check it out. Just a great little spot and experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The beers were great and we got some BBQ to go. I will say it was some of the best BBQ we've had. Ribs, pulled pork and brisket were all excellent. Each of our 4 sides were great, but I must say the baked beans were top shelf. Definitely give this spot a shot if you love craft beers and bbq.“
“One of my favorite breweries in Asheville, and that's saying something, because the competition is fierce. French Broad has some excellent beers. The wee heavy and kolsch are probably the two big favorites but I really haven't had any that aren't above average. The staff is really nice, very helpful. The atmosphere is laid back and unpretentious, which is welcome after visiting some of the trendy places in the central beer district. The pizza is also really good, too, surprisingly.
I'm from Cincinnati, which has a pretty robust brewery scene, and French Broad is the only brewery that I make absolutely sure I hit every time I go to Asheville. On merit alone, it's up there with the best breweries I've ever been to, and they aren't pricing the product in the same way that many other places do, which means on value, there's really nothing that comes close to French Broad.“

“Good pizza! It's behind the brewery. A bit inconspicuous. Don't let that sway you. Order the supreme and add feta and shrooms. It's an 18" pie. Bring help, you'll need it. Outdoor dining or in the brewery. Neither are an issue. I'll be back for sure.
Parking: Parking is to the left or behind the building.“

“We stopped here based on a post with kid friendly breweries. They were right on target. The kids had a blast here and the beers were delicious! Food trucks change each day. Milk and Honey was here and the chicken wings were soooo good. If it just rained, be prepared for muddy feet and pants. Hit up the mini putt putt golf. Definitely a place you want to check out if you are around Asheville.“
