We really enjoyed the lunch special with Chicken Tikki Masala. It was very reasonably priced for the generous amount of food we ate. “This was my second time to La Montaña and both times I've had a Great experience. For this experience, I called ahead and spoke to one of the hostesses to see if they could make their Diablo dish non-spicy since I wanted to bring my best friend for her birthday and knew she would love it, but she doesn't eat spicy food. When I called, the hostess was So Sweet. She took down my number, called the owner / chef to see if they could do it for us, called me back with a "Yes" AND made a note about it in our reservation. So A+++ to her and the chef for their kindness, flexibility and wonderful customer care. When we arrived, all the staff were welcoming and helpful. Then came our Curry Shrimp dishes; The Diablo (the normal spicy version) and The Angel (as our funny and very attentive waiter Colby (?) referred to the non-spicy version as). We were both in heaven. This is really the most delicious and flavorful curry sauce we've ever had. It's served with rice and this thick, delicious sourdough bread, and dipping the rice or the bread in the sauce are both different and equally delicious experiences. We both enjoyed a glass of the Cabernet, which was perfect. Lastly, we liked the feel and lighting of the restaurant and were especially touched by the story on the back of the menu about the restaurant's inception. Thank you La Montaña! We will be back!”

“LOVE this French bistro! Having lived in bigger cities, I crave this quality of food that Bluebird provides. Dining for brunch, the atmosphere is lively and beautifully designed. The Salade Niçoise with seared tuna is divine and perfectly cooked. It is far superior to the same salad at Vin Rouge. My only request is to swap the frisée for mixed greens or add to it. It's a bit too wiry against the succulent tuna. We can't wait to go back for dinner and try the escargots! Thank you Bluebird.”

“Vimala’s holds a special place in my heart. I met and proposed to my fiancé in the Vimala’s courtyard. It’s one of the most unique and beautiful restaurants in Chapel Hill. On top of the wonderful atmosphere, the food is awesome. I haven’t gone wrong with anything that I’ve ordered here. The staff are great people and the service is always top notch. I would not have been able to do a special proposal + engagement dinner without them. Highly recommend!”

“My first time here since Bombolo started. I came on Sunday night with a burger in mind but they did not do a burger last night. Bartender suggested that I try either the pork belly or rolled chicken. I chose the chicken and just loved it. Ended with raspberry bundt cake - also delicious! Bar was fun! Great service and overall environment. Will definitely be back.”

“I've been here twice since they opened. Got the vegetable samosas with the 2 chutneys and the butter chicken with garlic naan and everything has been SO good. Samosas hot and crisp out of the fryer. Our waitress took our order and brought out chips and drinks next. (Thank you for not making the salsa spicy. It was mild with good flavor and we each got a bowl for dipping). The food came out maybe 10-15 minutes later, hot and fresh!I tried the Monterey Sampler: beef taquitos, chicken quesadilla and bbq wings. The taquitos used a tender shredded beef brisket with green peppers. The quesadilla was stuffed with tender slices of seasoned chicken and had a light layer of cheese. The wings were fried perfectly and had a thick tangy bbq sauce. Even the celery sticks were crisp and fresh to dip in tasty ranch dressing.Throughout our meal we were checked on for assistance and to ensure satisfaction.I honestly wished I could’ve left a big tip but was low on cash. State employee so I hope my review brings them plenty of new customers.Wheelchair accessibility: There were tables and low curb/ ramp near entrance with open lobby area.”

“What a wonderful place to visit! It's extremely easy to book a reservation online for your group. While you're not allowed to pick up the cats there are plenty of toys available to play with them. Their names and pictures are posted on the upper floor and whether or not they are pending adoption. I booked an hour for my group and it was great.”

Fast, friendly, accommodating service includes no hassle, no extra charge substituons -- which makes fussy diets much more possible than you can imagine for Mexican food. Keto is especially easy. There are no official, ADA certified ramps, but the condition of the gravel in front of the entrance and the shape and height (about 1") of the metal strip at the bottom of the door seem easy enough for someone even in a manually operated wheelchair to handle with ease to enter the restaurant.”
