“If you love homemade ice cream, this is a must stop. They only accept cash or check, so be prepared to pay with cash. They have over 100 flavors which you can taste before deciding what to order. You can also order multiple flavors in your cup or cone. No tips accepted, but the servers are efficient, friendly, and professional. If there is a line, it moves quickly. Ask the staff for suggestions if you are overwhelmed with all the options.“
“**No pets allowed! Research and teaching farm!**A 329-acre dairy farm with tours and a museum with interactive educational experiences, but we came for the ice cream, which is amazing, and had a great time! The Creamery has a porch with tables, rockers and Adirondack chairs, a lawn where kids play, and cow watching. Inside they sell the classics, coffees and smoothies, take home pints, Howling Cow merch, and, at the holidays, their famous egg nog. I had a Tuffy's Special, which was the March student creation. It was so good! I really hope they make it a permanent menu item. The whole family enjoyed their treats. The staff even provided a lid for the banana split without us having to ask. Can't wait for our next chance to stop by!Kid-friendliness: working dairy farm with tours, museum with interactive educational experiences and a lawn for play at the creamery“
“The desserts we ordered were wonderful and we were glad to get them because they ran out of items in real time while we were waiting for our order. The space is entirely too small to be a business where customers have to stand around waiting for their items. When there were more than four adults in the establishment, it was difficult to find a place to wait that did not interfere with the two ordering kiosks that were on one wall.“
“This was my first time going to this ice cream shop & Alison was super kind & friendly to us! We weren't sure of the flavors & I asked her to tell me what the ice cream consisted of (I have an allergy so I wanted to make sure as well!). Alison was very well versed & knowledgeable with knowing which ice cream had which ingredients inside & they all sounded super yummy! She also allowed us to sample one which made the decision easier. Overall, the experience was very pleasant & the staff were very friendly. We ended our day with delicious ice cream while enjoying the sunset 10/10 would definitely recommend :)“
“We drive almost an hour to Willow oak farm because it’s that good! The barnyard buddies class is so nice, my daughters look forward to it every week. The two teachers are amazing and great with the kids. And there is so much to do after class we end up staying the rest of the day! There’s an outdoor playground, indoor playground, ice cream, and farm animals. We just had my daughters birthday party here as well and everyone had a blast.“
“We stopped in on a walk through downtown Holly Springs even though it was chilly outside and I'm so glad we did! The pistachio was lovely, but they had many flavors that were good, so it made it hard to choose! The staff was so friendly and even gave us a mystery flavor to sample and try to guess- so fun! We had plenty of room for our group to hang out and eat before heading back outside for the rest of the walk.“
“Perfect Pelicans location in Fuquay! Love the enclosed play area for the kids to run around after eating snowballs. Tables have umbrellas for shade & tiny tables for the little kids. There is also one small bathroom was very clean. Only downside was parking - the Pelicans parking lot is small & filled up fast. We parked next door in the large Guardian shopping center lot and walk over. Not ideal with little kids in tow, but there is a side-walk, just be mindful of traffic along main street & you'll be fine. Still worth the Pelicans treat!“
“I ordered the wrong type of boba for my niece. I explained to my niece that it was my mistake and we wouldn’t be buying another drink. She’s 9, so of course she was upset. The person behind the counter made her the drink she wanted, free of charge. Great customer service!!“
“I had the burbon pecan cobbler which comes with a side of ice cream and my husband had the peach cobbler stuffed cinnamon roll. They were both fresh & delicious ?It was only our second time eating at this establishment and both were great! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the environment modern and inviting. We will, definitely, make this one of our dessert spots ?“
“I've been going to this location for years now. The service is always amazing the staff is always so sweet. It always tastes amazing! The vibe is very relaxed they have a playground for the kids and little fun activities for both kids and teens.“
“Finally we have a place in Apex to get authentic Mexican popsicles (paletas) & ice creams! They have lots of flavors of each to choose from. If you're not in the mood for ice cream, they also have lots of other desserts & Mexican snacks. Shop is bright & cheerful with some seating. It's a perfect place to grab a snack or a special treat after eating at Mi Cancun next door. Service was efficient and friendly.“
“My wife and I saw their truck at Jack Marley Park and decided to give it a try. Absolutely delicious! I had the Mint Chocolate Chip, my wife had the Peanut Butter Cup Delight, and our daughter had a whole lot of both! We will definitely be ordering again next time I see their truck!“
“Stumbled upon this new(ish) ice cream shop and it's a new favorite of mine. The store was clean, staff was friendly & helpful, the ice cream was delicious & the waffle cone was warm *chefs kiss* ! I loved the rocking chairs out front to enjoy my ice cream as well.Dietary restrictions: They have dairy free options!“
“I had the cod fish combo with fries and a drink. The fish sandwich was delicious and fresh. One of the best ones that I've had in a while. Fries were hot and delicious. Everything was on point. The cashier recommended the walleye fish sandwich...... maybe I'll try that one next. Hope it will still be the “
