“What a pleasant surprise! I was getting tires across the street and just happen upon this place. No joke, the chicken burrito I got was really great. Easily in the top 3 Mexican food trucks I visit in the entire Raleigh area. It could easily be the best, just depends on the taste you’re after at this point. Definitely try it out. Only downside now js I’ll have to fight the steering wheel every time I drive by. Thanks!“

“Apparently the food is good but I wouldn’t know because I couldn’t get the owners/ crew to call me about my order. I was told multiple times, “I will call you back”. I was even told to send the menu I desired. It was my daughter’s first birthday and I needed a caterer. Customer service is important but clearly that is not Corner Boys priority.

UPDATE: After posting my previous review, I spoke with James from Corner Boys and I must say I am truly pleased with the conversation we had. He showed how important customer service was to his business. I look forward to working with him in the future.“

“I had the Philly tacos on Saturday at the Altis by Serenity neighborhood event and they were PHENOMENAL! I’m not even exaggerating when I say these were the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. The staff was amazing and took great care of us (I was with the band playing). Definitely recommend them and can’t wait to have their food again!!“

They don't get up and move around, nor do I have to download an app to see where they are located for the time being, I just GO to them. They are really nice people and the food portions are big and reasonable. Check them out, you can't go wrong🤌❤️“

“I had never tried Ethiopian food before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect — but I’m so glad I gave it a shot! The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff was warm, welcoming, and offered great recommendations that really enhanced the experience. This food truck has quickly become one of my top three favorites. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend you give it a try too!“

“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. “My first time here. I have been craving food from a Halal Food Truck in FOREVER ! And when I tell yall, they have the BEST absolute BEST Philly Cheesesteak with Fries omg . Them Fries were so deliciousss I would eat that every day each week if I could its so goodd . I ate it literally yesterday & I want it for Lunch && Dinner right now and for tomorrow 😭 it’s sooo goood . I hope they add more stuff to the menu because if so I’ll be here 1 or up to 3 times a week. I couldnt even take a picture of the food because i just went straight to eat everything“

“Walked up to this food truck and was immediately greeted by amazing smells! The gentleman working the counter wasn't overly talkative but that's fine, the man was focused.I ordered a Caribbean shrimp quesadilla, a jerk chicken eggroll, and a strawberry lemonade.The quesadilla was good. The shrimp was cooked nice but there wasn't a lot of volume to this quesadilla. Just cheese and shrimp, not a whole lot of flavor for me. All quesadillas are served with chips and queso, big bonus for me! Then the eggroll, these things are MASSIVE! An eggroll stuffed with Cabbage and jerk chicken, wooo these things packed some heat but they were delicious. I split the eggroll with a friend of mine who couldn't stop raving about the jerk chicken quesadilla and the eggroll.I gotta say, if you're looking for some delicious jerk chicken or Caribbean food, give this food truck a try!“

“One of the best Shawarmas in Raleigh. It is a food truck but man... so much better and authentic than some restaurants! Limited menu but whatever they sell is delicious. Falafel wrap, beef/chicken shawarma everything is so good! One in photo is a chicken shawarma. And the owner is also very friendly and sweet!! Hopefully they will expand their menu to more items.“

“It’s food truck good! Honestly some of the better tacos I’ve had on the east coast, still a little over priced to what I’m used to but good tacos. Tbh just falls a little short of a nearby corner taco option. The taco was good. The Tamales, which I was most excited for, just felt like they were too mushy/ likely reheated right when ordered.
Is it my first choice in town? Nah. Is it far more authentic than 90% of town ? Absolutely. Will I be back? 100% but notably I’m very closer by.

Parking: No concerns at all. The spot they’re usually parked on Shotwell and 70 has 15+ spots and I’ve never seen it full“

After taking a persons order and grabbing his credit card , and swiping it , She didn’t wash her hands no gloves on , She grabes my food and put the avocado on it and grabbed the tortillas bare hand. With Covid going on and it not being sanitary alone , It makes me Worried the possible germs or .... she could be spreading.“

Flavor was authentic and the best part is that they have HOMEMADE tortillas. You will not come across a food truck this good. I stopped by visiting some friends and was truly amazed. “This is a really solid local taco truck that serves great value taco plates. I usually get the steak tacos sometimes I'll get the chicken or Pastor/Carnitas and occasionally Barbacoa. My favorite is the steak though. They give really nice sides of Cucumber and Radish along with salsa and the food is energizing, healthy, and it digest well at a great price. Much better option than mainline fast food. The shrimp tacos are great too!“
