Craft Breweries in Hickory

Olde Hickory Brewery Brewery • $$
2 3rd St SW, Hickory

“We stopped in for a few drinks after having dinner at Olde Hickory Station. This stunning bar is located right inside the brewery itself, which gave it such a cool, authentic vibe — like we were getting a behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens.

Jon the bartender was the highlight of our visit. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and just a genuinely great guy to talk to. Whether you’re a beer geek or just stopping in for something cold and refreshing, Jon makes you feel like an old friend.

The beer selection was top-notch — fresh, flavorful, and with a wide variety of styles to suit any taste. Everything we tried was brewed with care and attention to detail.

If you’re in Hickory and love craft beer, do yourself a favor and visit Olde Hickory Brewery. Great beer, awesome atmosphere, and even better people. We’ll definitely be back!“

City Walk Brewing & Distilling Brewery • $$
205 Main Ave NE Suite C, Hickory

“CityWalk Brewing is everything you want in a brewery—great beer, awesome people, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time.

Huge shoutout to Jordan, who was both our bartender and the manager on duty. He was absolutely fantastic—super knowledgeable, welcoming, and somehow managed to keep the bar running smoothly while still making us feel like VIPs. If you're lucky enough to catch him behind the bar, you're in good hands!

The Fanny Pack Hazy IPA is dangerously good, and the Carrot Cake Stout is basically dessert in a glass. The pretzels with beer cheese hit the spot, and the whole place has a relaxed, friendly vibe—perfect for hanging with friends or just chilling on the patio.

Whether you're a craft beer fan or just looking for a great spot in Hickory, CityWalk is a must-visit. Cheers to Jordan and the whole crew for making it an awesome night! 🍻“
