Craft Breweries near Hickory

“My wife and I were in Hickory for the 1st time during the 1st weekend of June. We love exploring breweries when in new towns. We stumbled upon Olde Hickory Brewery and absolutely loved it. The bartender, Jon, asked what we liked and explained all the beers they had, how long they’ve been in business and the restaurants and pub owned by them. He patiently answered all our questions and gave us samples of beers that interested us. We loved Photon Sphere (very interesting brew), The Event Horizon, and all the beers in the Nova series. Jon explained them very accurately. When he had time, he sat with us and talked for a couple of minutes. Before we left town we came back to buy beer to bring home to Alpharetta, GA. To our surprise, Jon remembered our names! Even though the brewery was much busier, we notice he gave the same attention to all the customers. He seemed to truly love talking to people. The beer, Jon, and atmosphere were all great. If you are near Hickory- go there. If we come back we sure will. Thanks, Jon!“

“I enjoy going there with my dog and having a burger and a beer. He even knows what that means. You can order from cranford brothers through a kiosk and bring it down when ready. They have open air, covered with screens and heaters and inside seating. We love it!“

“Found it on Google on a Sunday afternoon and went to check it out. This brewery is laid back and chill. I really loved how everyone was just friendly when you walk in. The brewery area is fairly small. On this day we had no trouble getting a table. The young lady serving us was awesome and gave us many samples to help us decide which brew we wanted. The beer was great as was the atmosphere. I highly recommend you visit.“
