Chick-fil-A in Hickory

“This location is a great stop for lunch or dinner if you are in the Hickory area. The food is always superb. The service is, as expected, amazing.

You can get through the drive through line expeditiously at any time of day. And every employee meets and greets you with a smile. My longest wait time so far is 7 minutes (the line was wrapped around the building).

I have never been given an incorrect order or been served cold food. However, the one annoying aspect to visiting this location is the entrance/exit. Instead of turning directly into the parking lot like you could for years, you are know directed to turn onto a road beside the restaurant and then turn into the parking lot.

I know that seems picky - and truthfully, entering isn’t so bad. It’s the exiting that can be awful depending on the time of day you choose to visit. Because the exit leads to Hwy 70, when you leave you are stuck at a 3-5 minute light. If you are going right to get onto I40 then it won’t be much of an issue. But, if you are planning to go left down Hwy 70 to get to the Newton/Conover area - it can be a task to make that left hand turn before the light turns red again if there is significant traffic.

Otherwise, this chic fil a is one of the best I have ever been to. Highly recommend.“

“Always accurate, fresh, hot, and delicious! Not a long wait. I ordered it on the app and chose to pickup in store. They had everything ready when I arrived. And all requested condiments and sauces, plastic ware, napkins, straws, everything we needed ready in bag as well. I never have anything to complain about from here.

Kid-friendliness: I love that they have a play area for the kids. Also, I love that they offer and have available the sticky/disposable/placemats for the tables for kids. Really stands out from any other place.“
