“After exploring the town of duck via the boardwalk it was refreshing to be greeted with such a courteous staff that allowed me to sit at the bar for some time waiting on the dinner menu to become available. It was a unrushed, inviting experience that was made even better by one of the best steaks with fresh vegetables that I have had the privilege to consume. Great upscale environment, courteous staff and topped off with amazing food made for a time that I will be back soon to duplicate.”

“Holly was such a pleasure to work with. I shared my ideas for a luau theme & she created the most gorgeous cake. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful it was! Not only that, but it tasted incredible!! The chocolate buttercream was delicious, the marble cake was so moist, the colorful vanilla buttercream outside with the flowers…everything was so, so yummy!! Holly even delivered to our vacation home, which was amazing & helped me out so much!”

“Off the Wall was our first stop when we arrived in town and we made it our last stop on our way out! I wish I would’ve gotten the name of the guy who works in the front because he was great. He was so nice and helpful that I thought he was the owner. All of the food we tried was really good, I highly recommend the burger and fries. Also, being able to try any of the beers was a lot of fun. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!!”

“I recently dined at NC Coast Grill & Bar in Duck, NC. The overall experience was pleasant, with attentive service and well-prepared dishes. However, I did notice that the ingredients didn’t feel particularly fresh, more like pre-prepped items that were reheated before serving. That said, the flavors were still enjoyable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. A decent spot for a casual meal, though I’d love to see a stronger focus on freshness in the future. 3.5 stars.”

“This is a don’t judge a book by its cover kind of place. The service was amazing…very friendly and Welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing, hot, and fresh. Now the wait for the food was a little long but when you taste the food you will know why. I did not get the cooks name, but he made this food with so much love and care. The customer service from the person who greeted us to our waitress that served us was great…..This is a place to stop if you ever traveling in the Carolina’s. “While it's a fairly standard pizza space, you have to admit that it's been pretty good for a long time. This is the kind of place that you can depend on. Sure, some people might complain about price, but they don't understand running a food business on an island. Either way, it's not a bad choice!”

“5/5 — Honestly one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time

I wasn’t expecting anything crazy when we walked in, but this meal ended up being a top 10 dinner for us. Everything we ordered was spot-on.

The lamb meatballs were incredible — tender, full of flavor, and the romesco/pickled cauliflower combo was perfect. The delicata squash surprised me the most; it was one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you’re done. And the strip steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.

We wrapped it up with an ice cream sandwich, and it was the perfect ending to the meal.

Service was friendly, food came out at a great pace, and the whole night was just way way better than I expected. Super impressed and definitely coming back. Only wish we had visited sooner!”

“Went to Barry’s while in NC. The hotel was super cute with different themes. The atmosphere was cool with the old hunt lodge feel. The food & drinks were great. We loved the outdoor area and dock. Highly recommend!”
