Food & drinks: The food was amazing. We tried several items and enjoyed everything. I do not typically order steak as I always seemed to get disappointed. I had the Prime NY Strip, and it was perfectly cooked and as tender and juicy as it should be. Absolutely fantastic!”

Fabulous beer selection and very knowledgeable bar tender. Anything I requested, he could give me a perfect solution. And the Rueben sandwich is on point!”

The only draw back for me was the live band they had inside was so loud my party couldn't have a conversation with each other because we couldn't hear anything other than the band and we were in the open air Pavillion between the two buildings.”

“Have I really never reviewed this restaurant before? Shame on me! It's definitely the go-to for a great meal in Newland.
The food here is always delicious. I even try new things because I know it's going to be good. All of the staff from top to bottom are always sweet and helpful. Service is always quick. Don't get me started on the salsa bar. So many flavors from cool and creamy to hot and delicious. Portions are very generous.
My favorite dishes here are the pollo loco and grilled salmon salad. And did I mention their fabulous salsa bar?!”

“This is a really unique pizza and arcade. The pizza is delicious and authentically wood-fired, and there is memorabilia all over the place. There are even two trains that run above you on suspended tracks. The only downside? Pizzas cost $30 a pop so it's not the cheapest.”

“Such a wonderful Vineyard - you can even stay in one of the glamping tents on property! Quiet and beautiful with live music on the weekends. They have charcuterie, breads, and snacks or bring your own and enjoy a sangria / glass of wine. Great place to visit and relax!”

“I stopped in for some beers during my trip to Banner Elk. I've had German beer all over the US, and many more in Germany, and I can honestly say that this brewery has the *best* Marzen I've had Stateside. Make this a stopping point if you're in this area. Looking forward to what this place produces in the future!”

“We stopped here to grab some breakfast after we delivered a shipment in Newland. My husband went in and ordered myself a bacon/egg croissant that was just like I would make..the kind ladies working made my husband an omelette with whatever he wanted per what add ons they had in stock. The atmosphere outside was so peaceful and quiet plus the coffee shop supports the Communities for Children's home. ?”

“All homemade pies. You can get them warm with a scoop of ice cream on top. We go every year and it’s a great time talking to the owners. Cute shop and welcoming location.”

“We stopped by on our way home to GA because we had to detour due to road closure. We were tired, hungry and give out. The owner and staff were extremely helpful, polite and gave us great instructions on getting around the road closure. Grill was closed unfortunately so we couldn't get food but everything else we bought was great. They really made us feel welcome and brightened our day which was a long, tough one. Would highly recommend stopping by and if we are in the area again, we will make it a point to stop there. Its a great little store with a bit of everything. A side note also, it was one of the cleanest bathrooms I've used on the road!”
