“We had amazing service, delicious food and good service at the Pub bar after. We had the wild mushroom bruchetta, lobster bisque, French onion soup, chili, followed by the snapper Oscar, candied salmon, and prime rib. All food was delivered at a good pace, with a large enough portion size for us all to taste test each other's food. We later went back to the bar to have an adult beverage to enjoy back at our room. The two bartenders (a male and female who's names I didn't catch but they seemed to be familiar with each other and worked together well) were friendly and quick with mixing our drinks. We chose a higher end tequila, to which the bar tender made sure to check price on for us first and then said, and I quote, I am not putting a $26 tequila in a plastic cup. I would say everyone here takes great pride in their work.”

The only draw back for me was the live band they had inside was so loud my party couldn't have a conversation with each other because we couldn't hear anything other than the band and we were in the open air Pavillion between the two buildings.”

We also grabbed a couple cookies for the road. They were the best I’ve had in a long time. We got the peanut butter and the chocolate espresso. I wish I bought more than one.”

“We have been here a couple times. Once last year on our visit for a women's retreat - had the hog rolls, and omg...that alone - and all the sauces...so good, be sure to ask to try them. And then I brought my husband back and again - the hog rolls are the winner...with the something stinger sauce? anyway - I agree with whomever said the young gal cared more about her phone, that was true the first time we were there, but seemed to me that they got the message b/c the last time we were in - which was March, she was reading a book. This is a family owned place and I am impressed at their drive for customer service. This is a hard business and a super hard time to be in the restaurant biz. More people should give this a try!”

“We always look for diners, where the locals go. I ordered the special appetizer, fried green tomatoes, they were really good! I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was pretty basic, but very good. I added tots, nothing special. Great atmosphere. The wait staff were really nice. That's always a plus.”

“I don’t know exactly why, but the chicken quesadillas at this location are so much better and fresher tasting than my usual Cook-Out! And the sweet tea is so far the best I’ve had in Marion. The bbq sandwich is heads and shoulders above the BBQ Hut down the road, too. I said what I said!”

“Picked up our order through the drive-through on the way home from picking up our grandkids. We live an hour away. We didn't check the order and were missing the kids' chicken tenders. Called the company, and they said they would tell who they needed to and we'd hear back. It's been a week, and no one has called or put the $15.00 back in our account. KFC is getting as bad as McDonald's. They always get the order wrong, forget part of the order, and charge way too much”
