The gentleman owner is actually the chief and cooks wonderful food..We got the chance to talk to him about the hurricane Helene as well as how God has blessed him and his wife with their building for the restaurant. “This place was definitely jumping when we arrived later on a Sunday afternoon. I've been here once before many years ago and it was definitely not this busy. That's probably a great thing for them! Not as much for us though since it took awhile to even get to the front to order anything.

My husband and I both chose to order flights is 4 to try out a few things. We took our flights to the first open table we could find and listened to the live jazz band for a bit. They were great and the atmosphere of the area was also stunning. But it was simply just too busy for us to relax and enjoy, so we ultimately decided to leave after that flight and go somewhere else.”

“Love the quality offerings. The fresh bread is amazing. I got the Lox Benedict and my hubs the Montecristo. Both were so good. The strawberry matcha over ice was lovely as well. We also grabbed a couple cookies for the road. They were the best I’ve had in a long time. We got the peanut butter and the chocolate espresso. I wish I bought more than one.”

“I've had the pleasure of dining at Switzerland Cafe three times since its recent reopening, and each visit has been a delight. The food is consistently excellent, with the filet mignon cooked to absolute perfection and the salmon being another standout dish. The sandwiches and soups are amazing! Beyond the delicious food, the atmosphere is welcoming, clean and the service is truly exceptional. I Highly recommend.”

“We have been here a couple times. Once last year on our visit for a women's retreat - had the hog rolls, and omg...that alone - and all the sauces...so good, be sure to ask to try them. And then I brought my husband back and again - the hog rolls are the winner...with the something stinger sauce? anyway - I agree with whomever said the young gal cared more about her phone, that was true the first time we were there, but seemed to me that they got the message b/c the last time we were in - which was March, she was reading a book. This is a family owned place and I am impressed at their drive for customer service. This is a hard business and a super hard time to be in the restaurant biz. More people should give this a try!”

“Only problem was a sign for a chicken Enchilada meal. Sign was far off and couldn't read the "what you get" with the meal. I got a lot of food, but unfortunately because I couldn't read the far off small print, I got 2 items with beef that I tossed out. I don't eat beef.
Also an elderly man came walking in with his dog. NOT A SERVICE DOG, just a dog. Walked up to the counter carrying him, then put him on the floor to order. I love dogs, but come on...”
