“Hi Wire is a great place for a wide variety of FREE games. Ping pong, air hockey, soccer pool, connect 4. I always love a space with gender neutral bathrooms and wheel chair accessibility. The beer selection and calendar of events is very robust as well.An area of improvement is using gender neutral pronouns for the patrons. I noticed rainbow flags all over the space but I was misgendered by the bar tender which didn’t feel affirming. I gave the space 4 stars because I recommend using they pronouns if you don’t know how someone identifies.“
“Great beer tenders, knowledgeable and friendly. Diverse selection of beers, all done very well. Deepest condolences to Dan's family, friends, and the CLT beer community. Speaking as a beer industry worker visiting from out of town, please support these folks. They do a great job.“
“I've been going to DBB since it opened, and it's really cool to see the true community hub it's grown into. Service is always top notch across the board, and it's clear how committed they are to showcasing local artists & food vendors (their truck rotation is terrific). The NoDaHood markets they host every few months are always a blast. For their core offerings - the taproom & patio atmospheres are welcoming to everyone and really clean; they recently added some pinball machines to compliment all of the tabletop and board games. And last but certainly not least - the beer. They'll almost always have something for everyone; clean classics, fun sours, heavier dark beers, stuff that's barrel-aged, solid cocktails, wine, and n/a offerings that are tasty and open the place up even more to families. They do a little bit of everything and do it well. They're THE destination for me when I get to that part of the city.“
“Amazing drinks, first tasted one of their Blender series at a local bottle shop and could not stop talking about it. Found out this was not too far from me and took my best friend with me. I tried a few beers, the food truck sadly was closed when we went but they were very accommodating with us getting outside food. Seems they have some events that happen regularly, including a cycling group. The bartender was informative and had no problems answering specific questions. Even let me know which beers were vegan for me to take some home to my wife. Amazing selections.“
“Inviting atmosphere and very hospitable employees. Every need is met with concern and kindness. Beverages are delightful, clean environment and good energy. Encouraging staff to those in need (hence needing a drink during a tough work day) Would definitely come back again and again and again. ?“
“One of the best breweries I've been to in awhile. The decor is eclectic and feels like an antique store but also very trendy. They had mulled wine which has been hard to find some I moved back to the US from Europe! Service was fast despite being a busy night due to the live music act which was amazing! Any other place would have charged a cover for this performance. They had a fiddle player, guitarist and more. It was such a cozy, intimate evening. Since I went during Christmas week, they threw in some Christmas classics and handed out the lyrics on a sheet so we could all sing along.“
“My husband and I have recently found ourselves going here more and more often. Every beer we’ve tried has been fantastic, and the food truck is always on point whoever it may be. The bartenders are always friendly and remember us. We love it here!“
“We've come in here quite a few times for board games, live music, and for the food trucks and every time has been a great experience. They have coffee on tap (for us non beer drinkers that's amazzzinnggg) from Sugar Creek Brewing and it's really great. It's important to support those small local businesses!“
“We enjoyed our visit, good selection of beers. Tasty food options. Staff was friendly and had great customer service even though it was busy. Outdoor seating and live music occasionally. Dog friendly. Parking could be an issue during peak times, but they do have a parking lot.“

“Went with my daughter. I had an Old Fashioned and an arepa. Both were awesome!! Comfy ambiance with a great patio. My daughter had blonde ale and a canal and she raved and raved about the canal. I had a bite and it was fantastic. This is not your typical 'bar food'. Authentic!!!“
“Have been here before and its such an enjoyable experience! Love the vibe inside and bartenders are always friendly and helpful. They have gingers revenge on tap which i was thrilled about but also tried other beers and all were delicious! They also now have snacks for purchase including pimiento cheese and gluten free options as well!!“
“Pilot brewing is a fantastic spot in Charlotte with great beer! This review is to plug their private label offerings. We created a private label beer for our wedding celebration and could not be happier with how it turned out! The Pilot marketing team was fantastic to work with and our cans were a huge hit with our guests! Highly recommend!“
“Visited in October 2014. An amazing place! While waiting to check into our hotel, we decided to see if this brewery was open. It wasn’t officially, but a guy named Joe welcomed us inside. We had a fantastic time tasting the beers and chatting with him. Joe even shared some ghost peppers used in their Jalapeño Pale Ale brewing. In addition to the great beers, we received stickers, coasters, a glass, and a t-shirt. What a generous host and what a remarkable place! Should I return to Charlotte, Birdsong Brewing Co is a definite must-visit for me, and I highly recommend it to everyone.“
“I have visited the Monday Night Brewing Garden Co. a few times. There is always a great group of people and a good atmosphere inside and out. They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from and pizza to order. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!“

“LOVE SALUD! Absolute FAVORITE coffee bar in Charlotte. Staff is amazing especially DELPHINE. From the small candid conversations to remember the small things like (giving me hot honey before I even ask because I always forget). They have the best customer service in Charlotte HANDS DOWN. Thank you so much!“
“The vibe is cool - they have the upstairs rooftop which is fun when it's nice out. Ton of variety of beer, quality is great. They don't brew on site. It is brewed in Asheville and brought in every Wednesday. They also have a good selection of non-alcoholics and also have liquor which is a nice addition.“
“Very nice place. Open view of the surroundings, easy-going, lots of seating for a place that isn't gigantic- they have a good bit of outdoor seating. Bar is well-stocked, and the bartenders are efficient and polite. Played trivia there, really enjoyed myself. Would definitely recommend- :)“
“Legion Plaza is always top-tier for us and is definitely one of our favorite spots in the area! We hosted a baby shower on the mezzanine area this past weekend that turned out wonderful. The staff was helpful and attentive as always, the event coordinator was knowledgeable and accommodating, the food was delicious and presented beautifully, and the space is perfect for a more intimate setting of 30ish people. 10/10“
“Absolutely loved the vibe. The music was excellent and everyone was so chill and friendly. Service was fast and courteous even during a major event our UNCC social work program coordinated. This was my first visit, and I'll definitely be back with friends. Food by Taco Green-go was a delicious cherry on top.“
“Pretty good brewery with an interesting twist, they focus on the “percent” local ingredients and actually measure that on their display boards with each beer they have. Quality is good, not amazing. Location is good with a outdoor area and projection TV and stage. Good place to swing by.“

“The customer service is top notch! My husband was visiting the restaurant from out of state with a large group for a sales meeting and I asked the manager if they could bring him a piece of bday cake and the service team pulled it off! It was awesome that they could made it happen, all while taking care of a huge group! Thank y’all for going above and beyond!“
“Beer selection had something for everyone. The blueberry wheat is a particular favorite for us. The food however leaves a little to be desired. I give the food a solid 4 on a scale of one to ten. The venue is wonderful and has a little something for everyone.“

“Wonderful service. This restaurant isn’t my type and i ended up not liking what I originally ordered(not because something was wrong with it, i just didn’t like it) and regardless of that the waiters and manager still made sure I ordered something else that I’d enjoy. It’s hard for me to know what to order here since it’s not my style. The order i replaced it with was delicious. The bison burger is the bomb. There doesn’t seem to be a niche with the menu though and that was another thing i struggled with. The options to me were quite random, but that’s another reason i had a hard time knowing what to order. My only feedback is to niche the menu so it makes more sense and speaks to a specific target audience. For example, I didn’t understand why there was one random Indian dish when the rest of the entrees aren’t Indian or Asian dishes.“
“NoDa brewing is a really cool place. Can’t say enough about their excellent staff - bartenders are extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend the Coco loco Porter, which is a refreshing beer to get in a world of triple IPA everything! Just some extremely well-made beers. Definitely put this location on your list.“
“Went to Fonta Flora brewery at Optimist Hall with a beer pass from Charlotte’s Got a Lot. It’s a pretty good location. You could get a snack or 2 at optimist Hall and then hit the brewery. The service was great and it was a very cool space. They had a lot of great beers also. We had one of their sours and an IPA. Will definitely go back!“
“Resident culture brewing Company is a fantastic location. The afternoon that we were there all the doors were open, full of families, groups, and couples, and even had a DJ outside. Beer is good staff is super friendly, taproom is clean. If you’re only visiting a few breweries, have a couple hours to kill definitely put this one the top of your list.“

“delicious coffee. sophisticated interior. tasty burger. service a little slow but staff is always friendly. WiFi okay. Good for remote work. sometimes it can get really cold there, my feet were freezing. I love the vibe overall and recommend this place for visiting.“
“Fun place, great service and atmosphere, nice selection of unique taps. Be sure to try it on a night that Tacoverse food truck is there - had a cowboy chicken rice bowl hibachi style and it was an explosion of flavor with just the right amount of subtle heat. FABULOUS.“
“Great first visit to SPB! We had the American burger, the kids chicken tenders/fries and kids grilled cheese with fries. The burger was "fine". The side salad was great quality but was mostly apples and little kale....maybe it's mixed up in a big batch and when they scooped out a serving, it just so happened to get all the apples? the hand battered tenders and the grilled cheese on the sourdough roll were fantastic BUT THE FRIES!!! They were the star of the night!! YUM! We had a couple mixed drinks that were made just how we liked them. I couldn't believe how quickly the drinks came out. It was impressive. My husband will skip the burger next time and try the Reuben instead. We can't wait to come back! It was a little tricky to find. It's between Dick's and The Container store“
“My wife and I came here for an improv comedy show - much fun! - and I was stoked to finally get to try the food here. I’ve had their beer many times and my first IPA was theirs, but never really hung out to catch the vibe or eat.We started with the beer cheese pretzels and the beer cheese was easily the best beer cheese I’ve ever tasted. It was a combination of a bunch of cheeses and was perfectly gooey and tasty. It had a nice crust on it from the broiler and I promise you there wasn’t any left when we finished.I then had the Korean Smoked Pork Belly Tacos and they were fire! Damn! Out of this world good. The coleslaw meshed so well with the pork belly and kimchi sauce. It was tangy and smooth and just delicious. I wanted to eat some more.My wife didn’t eat but she did enjoy a couple of cans of cider. Not theirs but from a brewery in Raleigh. Orange You a Hippie was the name of it (semi-dry, orange peel and hibiscus). I took a sip and it was quite tasty.I had two glasses of their Pick’n Series sour (cranberry, pomegranate, and lime), one glass of their Friendly Competition (nice German-style lager), and a glass of their Coast to Coast Itinerary (West Coast IPA) and all were delicious. We sat outside on the patio after the show and enjoyed the warm spring evening. I’ve always enjoyed their beers, and now that I’ve tasted their food, they have solidified their spot as my fav brewery in the QC“
“The new location is extremely nice! Almost a little bit too nice, everything is wood and wood veneer with multiple places and multiple bars to order from. Full food lineup, the whole works. Two-story taproom with tons of space and places to hang out. It’s absolutely enormous!“

“Found this place while looking for a new spot on a Sunday evening. The beer was great, and this is the only brewery or bar I’ve been to in the Charlotte area that has decent lighting. The staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly and kind. Definitely recommend.“
