“Pinky's is a local place that has been on Diners Drivein and Dives. The atmosphere is great. Good decor. The service was average. Nothing special but not bad. The food also is nothing special. Great to try once, but not the I must go back. The crab hushpuppies, you couldn't taste any crab. The patty melt was good, just not any better than any other place that sells patty melts. The Waffle Fries were good. It was what I would call good diner food. The Banana Pudding is amazing, probably the best I've ever had. I would recommend a visit if your in town.“

“The experience was so good I had to write the review before we even left. Our group came to celebrate a couple of birthdays and got sat with Cole, a staff member so knowledgeable and sociable that he immediately elevated the experience. “It was Saturday brunch time. The ambiance was modern, yet casual. The service was great. Started with the cinnamon roll with a caramel sauce. It was delicious. While the roll was hard on the outside, it was softer in the middle. The side of made-from-scratch biscuits were yummy! However, the biscuits that came with the biscuits and gravy were a little overdone. The gravy was starting to separate, so the flavor was about average. Enjoyed having my 1/2 and 1/2 tea served in a Mason jar. The a la carte chicken tenders were a little overdone and dry, but the homemade sauces were delicious. The Mac and cheese had the right amount of flavor and moistness. Great dish to try! The chicken and waffles were really good as well. Only a small section of the waffle was hardened. Overall, I would give Haberdish another shot!“

“I used to frequent this place often but with so many new restaurants opening in Charlotte I forgot about how much I enjoy visiting this place. I brought one of my friends here for dinner and we were both disappointed that the entree we wanted to order was gone by 730..So we settled for other dishes which were ok..The winter salad was amazing though and we were given a brownie desert which I enjoyed very much. My friend loves wine and recommends that decanters be purchased so that some of your good wines can be decanted at the table. See you next time“

“January 18th, I reached out to multiple breweries in Charlotte as an artist I represent, Damian C. had a house concert set for Saturday, February 3rd and the RSVPs had well outgrown the original space. I asked the host if there were any restaurants and / or breweries she could recommend for us to find a larger room. She gave over a dozen options with, Brewers at 4001 Yancey being at the top of the list. It did not take long to learn why Brewers at 4001 Yancey was at the top of the list. I heard back immediately from their events director, Austin Abel. We decided use of their private room, as there was huge basket ball game that same time. We ended up opening the event to the public and it was an overwhelming success. Ultimately 70+ attended, everyone had a wonderful dinner along with world class craft beer capping off and incredible experience that guests are still taking about weeks later. I HIGHLY recommend the Brewers at 4001 Yancey for anyone looking to host a private event in Charlotte and / or anyone looking for an exceptional world class craft brewery experience with a welcoming local vibe. The owners combined year(s) of experience shines through in everything they do. I can’t enough great things about this place!“

I even heard him in the kitchen telling the staff and it was right! Melanie served me the last time and she was as efficient and friendly as they come and provided lots of attention to all her customers. I do like that numerous servers ensured my cup of coffee was always filled. From preparing and serving delicious meatloaf and greens to sausage gravy and breakfast, they all work hard. Chef Sam and his partner are outstanding. Totally enjoyable 2 1/2 hour dinner. Now the hard part. We did not have the wine pairing at $90 per person. We brought an expensive magnum for which they charged $90 corkage plus 20% service. The meal was a single price $575 per couple. We decided to add caviar because it was harvested on Germany 24 hours earlier. 4 of us shared it for $140. I had a small spoonful. Our friends ordered the truffles. $100 and I had 2 slivers.Bottom line. It was my wife's 60th and we totally agreed it was worth it for the experience and the food. The extras were way overpriced so don't feel any obligation to be upsold. Can't comment on the wine but we were told it was 1 oz pours. End of night 2 glasses for $90. If you choose the high end wines 2 glasses are $475.Did it once. That's enough. Worth it for a very special occasion“
