“I spent a year in Korea and I felt like i was back.
Spicy beef stew with glass noodles was exceptionally special.
Hot pot bi bim bap was fire and the soy sauce was rich.
Steamed vege buns were… well have had a couple different and these were by far the best.
Thank you all for running the shop and putting our heart and home into the food .
So great Korean cookware, rice green tea, and ramen selection (among many other Korean grocery items )
The entrance is on the side, we came once thought it was closed down because the front door is locked up and there is construction inside.

“This is a wonderful restaurant, for the money, and service is terrific. We sat outside the restaurant where the doors are open to fresh air. This made for a terrific experience. They also have a good selection of beer, if that's your thing. Char Bar is a good choice for a nice time.“

“2nd time here because the first time was excellent. This time, however, was lacking. I ordered the calzone. The cheese was at one end, the frozen spinach, canned mushrooms and raw onions were at the other end. Not edible.“

“My wife and I had dinner at the Charlotte location this evening. We had great service from our server Noah, who was very quick to take our drink order and provided attentive service for our entire dinner. We both ordered a Chimichangas (my wife had the chicken and I had the beef). Both were delicious, well seasoned and served hot. (fwiw) noted the staff were sweeping and cleaning the restaurant tables quickly, after a table turned.“

“As frequent online ordering, in conjunction with dine in service, my wife and I truly enjoy each and every dining experience at this location. The meals are well seasoned and cooked to perfection. It's great eating healthy food that taste this good. It's also a nice touch to not have a long wait whenever ordering online. Kudos to Nick and the staff for always enabling us to have a most enjoyable dining experience. Keep up the good work. You're the "BEST of the BEST"!!!!“

“This was our second visit. Kaylee’s service was prompt and professional despite her having (at least) a 12-top right beside us. Steak and Cobb salad were both excellent, and the bread pudding with ice cream dessert was one of the best things I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back again.“

“Abugida is the best Ethiopian in Charlotte, the food is made fresh everyday. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. If you haven't tried Ethiopian, they will help you with the menu. This food is amazing and their injera is always fresh and delicious. Always order coffee!“

“My family and I decided to try New South, and I'm very glad we did. My mother-in-law ordered pork chop and absolutely loved it. My wife ordered the grilled flat iron steak; chef's kiss, especially with the sweet potato and bacon gratin. I had the fried chicken, which was pretty good, too. Salads were amazing, and MIL said the fried green tomatoes were the best she's ever had. Do yourself a favor - if you're looking for a solid, flavorful meal, check New South out. And ask for Nelie (sp?) as your server. Her service was absolutely superb. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We needed a Gluten Free option and the usuals are getting old! The Steak sandwich on a GF bun was delicious! It fit the bill perfectly for what we were seeking. The Parmesan potato’s pancake was cooked to perfection. The only adjustments I would make was (when the steak was after the server asked and the steak was ordered medium, that it should have at least some pink), but it was tender and flavorful. The multi-server thing got confusing. One person took drink order, another delivered (1 was incorrect), another ran the food and we were not told of the multi-layered service). Everyone was nice, it was just a little confusing and no one ever asked about drink refills and when the coffee cup was empty there was no one around for a long time. But… we still like the food, prices, atmosphere, options, and consistency.“

“I’m glad they decided to open a new location. I love everything about this place. Their banh mi is top notch in my opinion and I love their pork belly. But most importantly, the owner is super nice. He value his business and love his customers. Everytime I go in there it’s always a happy vibe. They greet customers soon as you walk in. This is a business owner who deserves all the success that’s coming his way and i certainly don’t mind giving my Money to his business.“
“AC/BC is a great place to get a taste of different types of special brew some beer have a unique German taste. Enjoy the atmosphere with friends and family getting together. Grab a bite to eat from the different rotating food trucks that are parked outside on the premises and wash it down with a nice cold brew 🍺. The owner of AC/BC is a great and proud American Veteran who served his country with honors both in peacetime and in combat. You should come in and buy him a beer for his service. Better yet, come in and support his business and celebrate his commitment to the United States of America.“

“It’s been a few years since my last review so I think it’s time to leave another one. King Fish Poke is the place to go when I need to cheer myself up and it was fantastic to find out today that they now have fruit teas. I got a passionfruit Tea and it is absolutely delicious. It is the perfect balance between sweetness and fruity flavor and I can’t wait to try the rest of the flavors that they offer.
Not to mention the poke….. best in the city 😍 there are so many customization options, and I love that they mix the rice and toppings together for me, even though that’s not their typical protocol.“

“Got to try J-birds for the first time today.. if you want an amazing burger he is definitely worth the trip!! The service was awesome and it is definitely not just a restaurant it has the "cheers" your family vibe!! When you have an owner who knows everyones name that speaks volumes you dont get that good down home feel much anymore!! Everyone is so nice I will definitely be back!!!“
