“Our family ate lunch at Oak Island Sub Shop during our recent stay in Oak Island.
My mother and I both ordered the Italian sub, my father the club, and my husband the Ruben. Meats and cheeses are fresh. All of our sandwiches were delicious, and I can say that because I had a bite of both my husband and father's subs as they both looked so good, I wasn't about to pass up the offer. Of the 3, I will say the Italian was my favorite, but I think that is just a matter of what kind of sub you like best. The service was great and the restaurant was clean, even at a busy lunch time. Our food came out very quickly and was all correct, which was another plus. I ordered pasta salad to go with my sub, but unfortunately it wasn't my favorite and tasted like it was store bought. Of course this is just my opinion. My dad had the potato salad which he said he liked. This I can't personally vouch for since I didn't try it myself.
Of all the restaurants we tried out while I Oak Island, this one was my favorite. In fact, I was bummed I didn't get to return since they are only open until 4pm and closed on Sunday. Next time I am in Oak Island, this place is first on my list. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!“

“I like this location better than the one in Walmart and near Foodlion. The lady that I have dealt with(sorry don't know her name) has always been friendly and helpful. I often order from the app to get the BOGO deal but I place the order while standing in the store so I can get the sandwiches made the way I like them. I also get each 6 inch section wrapped separately to take to work. They are very accommodating. Also, I do enjoy the new sub choices from Subway. The #4 is my new favorite.“
