“I've been getting food here for 4 years. Orange chicken has a some spice, mooshoo pork is tasty, and rolls are nicely fried. It's a pick-up-and-go place, but they work fast and the food has good texture. And the fried rice isn't as greasy as some other places. 5/5 reliable good takeout.“

“The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is beautiful. The owner is genuinely a good person from the inside and out. I’m nine months pregnant and I’ve been craving these lobster rolls my whole pregnancy. It is the end of July so it is extremely hot outside. I originally ordered my order on Uber eats and did not receive it (due to uber eats) so I had to come to the store and re-order my food. The owner could see that I was upset and he assured me to always be happy. The food is organic fresh and made to order. This is truly one of the only Chinese hibachi restaurants that I like to order from. Make sure you get the lobster rolls With the eggroll sauce.“

“I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, and it was my parent’s first date spot after immigrating years ago. They have always been consistent with the food quality and their efforts to maintain cleanliness and care are noticeable, even if the area around the restaurant is a little sketchy. The restaurant owner talks about how he’s seen me grow up, and my parents talk about they’ve seen his son grow up. It’s obvious the owner cares about his customers. I’ve moved out to college in UNCC now, but even in my dinky apartment over 100 miles away I crave Wang’s kitchen.“

“This used to be my favorite place to eat for the last 10 years I've eaten here but lately they hired some new people and the food has never been the same since I went there last night I ordered Singapore noodles they were the driest worst Singapore noodles I've ever eaten I think I had six little baby shrimp in the whole container they've messed up my order quite a few times in the last year I don't think I'll ever go back“

“Takeout was good. Love the crab Rangoon tho I’d say there isn’t much if any crab in it but that’s ok. Their egg rolls and spring rolls are tasty as well. I wish their wonton crisps were either free or they gave you more per bag. Besides that, friendly service and love the option to pay at the store.“

“Absolutely! Here's a raving review you can use for The location from your Google Maps link based on your experience:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Authentic Indian Street-Style Noodles – A Hidden Gem!
We stopped by this spot and tried the Street Style Indian Noodles — and wow, they were as good as the real thing back in India! Perfectly spiced, packed with flavor, and that unmistakable smoky wok-tossed aroma that you only get from proper street-style cooking. It's rare to find noodles this authentic outside of India, and these absolutely hit the mark.
The portion size was generous, the ingredients were fresh, and the spice level was spot-on — not dumbed down like some other places. It instantly took us back to the bustling food stalls of Delhi and Mumbai.
If you're craving true Indian street food flavor, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend it — we'll definitely be back!“

“I was skeptical about going here so to the bad reviews but it was 2 minutes from my house. Seems like a family owned and run restaurant with children there helping and doing their homework. I ordered the Szechuan chicken with white rice and triple delight with white rice from the house special section and then 2 shrimp egg rolls. I personally thought it was good for fast food Chinese food and also had chicken wings with house special fried rice. I would go back again.“

“One of the best, if not the best, bang for your buck downtown Raleigh lunch. For less than $11 they will stack a tray full of rice, chicken, and 2 spring rolls. Can't beat the amount of food for the price in downtown Raleigh. Also I would not give it 5 stars if it was bad food. It is pretty pretty good. Sesame chicken and general tso really hit the spot. I recommend this place.Don't order online like the bad reviews I've seen having bad experiences with that. Just walk in. It takes less than a minute to get a tray and pay“

“The food is always fresh I live way on the other end now in the back but I go out my way just to go to this Chinese restaurant because it's very good and clean.
Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of things there are kid-friendly and they also offer small portions for children also.
Parking: They have other stores there and also food Lion supermarket so you have plenty of parking free.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it's wheelchair assessable
Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions or you do is ask what's in the dish they don't mind changing the disc the way you that's including sources you can change the way you want. If you don't see something on the menu ask some things are not on it.“

“I have been eating here for the last maybe 15 years. This is my go-to place, my daughter would call me and ask me to bring in food when I leave work in Cary and drive home to Youngsville, NC(Franklin Co.). When I get home, the food is still nice and hot. It's so good, that when I wanted Hong Kong, I would drive from home, BACK to Cary to get it. Either way, it's worth it.“

“NC State legend right here. The spicy chicken single handedly saved my life during college, truly gods gift to this earth. Other food is great too like the peanut chicken! I live 20 minutes away but I am more than willing to make that drive to get some spicy chicken that’s for sure. Friendly service, that kid that’s been working there for years is a rockstar. It may feel a bit run down and not as clean as you would want, but that doesn’t matter at all, and it’s still clean, I just think the lighting doesn’t do the place justice; it could use some renovations. Still, must try for anyone visiting or attending NC State, or for anyone living in Raleigh period.“

“We ordered on Monday night at 8:00. All 4 entrees were perfectly cooked. The best yet. All the vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. The chicken was very tender. The sauces that were supposed to be spicy were just right for us (medium American). Looking forward to leftovers!“

“The place does not disappoint, the food is fire, and it has become my go-to Chinese takeout spot. The food is made to order so if come out hot and fresh. It’s not greasy, really flavorful and well seasoned. The chicken is always juicy yet crispy. We usually get the general tso’s chicken, house special egg fu young, house special lo mein, shrimp egg rolls, chicken wings and steamed pork dumplings - all of it is soo good, and way better than the last 3 Chinese restaurants in the area that we tried before finding this spot.“
“Do you have a favorite place that you absolutely love regardless of people's reviews and ratings? To me, Bao Shi Yi 包十一 is such a precious place that I love even more each time I visit. Bao means Bun, and Shi Yi, Eleven, can you guess the story behind the name? On Saturday mornings, after dropping off father-in-law for his acupuncture session, we like to take a break and have some Chinese breakfast at Bao Shi Yi. The place is always lively with Chinese patrons on weekend mornings. The place is small but bright and charming. I always order their Organic Soy Milk 有机豆浆 because it's the best in town to me, a welcoming beverage to start the meal off properly. They offer Tofu Pudding 豆花 in three options, Salty, Sweet, and Mala Spicy 咸、甜、麻辣. The Sweet Tofu Flower is so silky and delicate that it almost slides off my tongue. It's so enjoyable and fun to have the almost weightless pudding swirls in my mouth before it smoothly glides down. The sweetness level is at the sweet spot for Asian sensibility. Another perennial favorite of ours is Porridge with Preserved Egg and Lean Meat 皮蛋瘦肉粥, which is a recommended house specialty. It's the ultimate comfort food, with complex flavored Preserved Egg and savory Lean Pork slices, in a container of hot Porridge that makes our tummies warm and happy. The most satisfactory thing to order to accompany the two items mentioned above is Chinese Donut - 鸡蛋油条. The Chinese label implies that Eggs are incorporated into their dough, which explains why it smells and tastes so much better. YouTiao literally translates as Oily Sticks, it's crunchy on the outside and chewy inside, and makes my mouth greasy biting into it, but the oil they used to fry it is clean tasting, so befitting its name and executed perfectly by the restaurant. Their YouTiao is my top favorite in town, no other places wow me as much. I would never expect to find the best Cantonese style Juicy Cha Siu Buns 爆汁叉烧包 here at a mostly Mainland style Chinese restaurant, but they beat other Dim Sum places in town for me. The Skin has the right density and fluffiness when served hot, filled with juicy Cha Siu bites inside. When I take a bite into this childhood favorite Bun of mine, I can taste sweet and savory, delivered in a white spongy bun that's like heaven in my mouth. Their style of food is not for everyone, but to me, it doesn't matter at all, I love Bao Shi Yi. It's comforting, tasting, and homely to me. Their food gives me a sense of familiarity and solace that is unbeatable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Has anyone figured out the answer to the meaning of their name yet? I'm also open to suggestions as to where I can find similar breakfast places. Please share if you have a favorite.“

“Went there for the first time on 2/14/2025. Ordered take-out from the dinner menu. Had the combination Hunan Chicken, sesame chicken, lo mein, crab Rangoon, & hot & sour soup. The flavors were all great!!! There is only one set back I want to mention…. “The Lo Mein” is not my preferred dish & will not order it ever again. The noodles were spaghetti noodles & does not do any justice to the dish. I was told my order was will be ready in 30 mins (I know it’s an estimate) but I got there 30 mins later & waited an additional 30 + mins….
Parking: I couldn’t find the place cause their lights were off. The parking was hard to get in & out due to heavy traffic (went around 6pm).“

“This is now a Pei Wei Express. I was hesitant in stopping here, based on the name change from Mandarin to Pei Wei. The only and only time I've been to a Pei Wei, which was over 10 years ago, I was not impressed. But, I gave this a shot. The setup appears to be the same, similar to Panda Express. I got the 2 item combo with fried rice, Thai coconut chicken and Mongolian chicken. Everything tasted as expected. My only disappointment was their hot mustard. It just wasn't good. But, I would go back. Oh, and it was affordable. $10.66.“

“Best tofu I have had in the area. My husband tried it and he thought it was chicken. The General Tso is amazing! The flavor is consistent/crunchy and the sizes are large. I also like the spring rolls and brown rice. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-30“

“New chef, a non Asian. I asked for egg food Yung Without onions. His onion substitute was wonderful! He drained the oil from my food very well. Definitely not one who believes pouring extra oil over the food makes the food taste better Yuck.

“This is a family owned and operated business. They are trying very hard to please people, but some people can NOT be pleased. Everyone here is very kind, and the food is very good. Service is above standard. I have read comments on how some people don't "like" this food. That is an individual opinion. Please don't leave bad comments about the entire store just because YOU don't personally like the taste. That has NOTHING to do with anything. As far as the child (I read another comment about a child misbehaving), so it's OK for customers to bring unruly children to a restaurant, but not ok for a restaurant owners' young child to have a bad day? Do not be judging others until you, yourself are free of faults. There is nothing wrong with this business. Thank you for being here and giving us a place to eat. :)“

“I had a gift card given to me some 1.5 years ago, and just today made my way to the store! Felt adventurous and was craving some tropical fruits. I was blown away by the variety of exotic fruits, and the extensive choice of fish. The store is, certainly, a cultural experience! My 10-year-old and I each got a smoothie - mango and pear, but I feel curious about many of the other drinks and desserts that I’d love to try. They, also, have cooked/hot food there and will bring my husband next time since he loves Asian food. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I got chicken and mixed vegetables with large fried rice and two fortune cookies for $11.69 including tax. That's a steal compared to most asian takeout places charging $13-15+ for less food and only plain white rice. Food made fast, open late... this restaurant is criminally underrated.“

“Wanted something cheap and fast and got that. The food was not bad, the kitchen is pretty dirty. As is often the case with cheap chinese the mini-corn tasted a bit spoiled and the rice might have been from a day... or two ago. But I did not get sick and the food didn't taste bad. I saw raw chicken in a plastic tub in the counter, could have been just taken out of the fridge or been there for hours, I don't know, but with the rest of the kitchen being pretty dirty I don't think I'll go back there again.“
