“We recently were there for our 53rd Anniversary dinner. We had fabulous food and our waiter PJ was awesome. So when our niece's birthday needed a celebratory lunch, hands down we all voted for Seasons 52. As luck would have it, PJ was our waiter, and he did not disappoint. So attentive. “I loved the house salad but the owners daughter must not have listened to my request because it still came with tomatoes when I asked for none. We were not checked on at all which caused her to get a $2 tip. We were looked at in a way of less than we felt, so maybe that's why we weren't checked on. Bringing the food out we saw 3 different people and not our server. The first person brought out the appetizer. The second person brought out our waters. Then the third person brought out the food and it wasn't together it was at different times.“

“The food here is exceptional, particularly the filet (perfectly cooked), the sea bass (how they got fish to taste like butter cream cake is beyond me), the potatoes au gratin, and the apple tart. The service was attentive, friendly. Two things make this really less than what I would expect at this price point: the ambience is meh. We were at a Bankhead booth facing a room where a party was happening, and we watched people go in and out the entire time. A man in the party kept eyeing us with a frown, and shutting the door. It was almost comic. Where else were we supposed to look? The other thing is one of balance...everything felt so swift. Our reservation was at 6:30, and we had wine, salad, entree and dessert, and were out the door by 7:25. For $240, having a more elegant environment with a bit of time to linger and savor would have been ideal. Still, the food and service were exceptional!“

“food is kinda mid but the dinning room interior is quite the experience! micheal was our server and he killed it despite it seeming like a very bustling night. several private parties were happening on the saturday we visited which likely contributed to the echoing environment. Overall though we had a great time. The seating is probably one of my favorite things about this place! Highly recommend the moroccan lemon cake and the brussel sprout salad.“

“Nothing beats the comfort and quality of Bella Monica food! I first dined here in college when I was looking for some eggplant parmesan - since that day 20 years later it’s still my favorite Italian restaurant in Raleigh! Btw their eggplant parmesan uses in house ROASTED eggplant not fried and I cannot explain how delicious it is. I’ve likely tried everything on the menu by this point and not once have I been disappointed.“

The bread pudding was hard and unappetizing. Our waitress Daisy was great and very attentive. There was nothing special about the dining area that made me feel I was in a great place for a date night. This was noticeable as compared to other Firebirds restaurants I have been to.“

“We decided to pop in Good Day Good Night for an after dinner drink. There were 5 of us. We each ordered 1 drink and one person ordered dessert. Her coffee finally arrived, after she finished her dessert. The rest of us had to wait over 30min for our drink. I ordered a White Russian. It was so iced down, the ice had melted and the drink just watery whatever. Our server just acted like we were bothering him, each time we asked about the status of our drink order. My drink was the only mixed drink. The others were a shot of bourbon, and 3 decafs (the coffee was already made) Next time we want to stop somewhere for an after dinner drink, it won't be here.“

“I had an awesome time earlier this week celebrating a good friend's 25th birthday here. We had the rooftop reserved (both inside and outside). The supervisor Mac and the bartenders Greyson and Brittany were AWESOME! They helped to set the place for the reservation. They catered to the large volume and drink orders. They even made a desert with candles last minute as we sang "Happy Birthday!" The staff here definitely helped to make the night memorable and fun. I did not personally try the food but friends said that it was great! Service and atmosphere were both 10/10.“
