“I have always loved Grandma Ruby's but now that my homegirl Jana is there, it's always better, you got to go see her because she just makes the place so much better. it was great before. it's just so much better now. not to mention they have amazing food, they always have. it's just a good little country cookin' spot right there on University. if you've never had it, you have to go try it. you will not regret it.“

“Friendly service and delicious food! Our party of 4 had the classic burger, the meatball hoagie, the beef on weck, and the chicken sandwich. Everyone loved everything! (Also they have lots of tvs so we caught multiple basketball games, some Olympics, and played a round of atmosphere trivia.) Will definitely go back :)“

“Burgers, steaks, and teriyaki chicken cooked to perfection; I l like mine medium. Service was courteous, attentive and helpful. The outdoor atmosphere is comfortable like your rear deck and unique. All in all I recommend this place if you are trying to impress someone or just talking out that special someone. A little high but worth it.“

“A nice, quaint, smaller restaurant in Winston-salem. The table legs can be a bit annoying but that adds to the essence of an evening meal with the family and friends. Small restaurants SHOULD have quirks and things, a creaky door, a table leg that you straddle lol...and so on. Each time we've been the food has was wonderful, the staff helpful and non intrusive (which, I have come to find in the USA is soooo important) and the environment has a nice cost and inclusive feel.“

“Goodness gracious - words couldn’t do it justice to define how well ran, organized, and DELICIOUS the food is from JB’s. My wife and I had our wedding catered and we had the smoked brisket, lemon chicken, baked mac n cheese, dill potatoes, cobblers, fruit tray, and much more and WOW is an understatement. I’m salivating typing this! You’d be doing yourself a disservice by passing these guys and gals up!!!“

“I’ve been a loyal customer at the Applebee’s on Patterson Ave for a long time, and it’s all because of the outstanding staff—most notably bartender Michael Newell. He’s the perfect mix of professional and personable, always making guests feel welcome and taken care of. He remembers his regulars, keeps the atmosphere upbeat, and consistently gets food and drinks exactly right. It’s no surprise he has the same happy patrons every time he works. Huge credit to Applebee’s for having someone like Michael on board!“

“We are thrilled to have Cagneys in Walkertown. Had breakfast there when they first opened. Best ever. Prime Rib is delicious. Better than many "fine" expensive restaurants. Did several takeout orders. Never a problem. The meat loaf is like the best of cook's. All our orders and service has been first class.“

“Super friendly staff, great food and a very relaxing atmosphere! We had a little issue with an OLD coupon but the manager was so polite and kind-he explained everything and still gave us a discount. No raised voices or unkind words were used at all. Just professional people doing a great job! We had a wonderful evening for my birthday! Thank you all so much! “A homogeneous salsa blend with chips was served quickly in the bar area of this 50 odd year restaurant, a building thats been around prior to others in the area. Friendly waiter brought out a beef burrito with rice and beans. Upon serving the drink, he noticed that the glass was slightly dirty and brought a cleaner glass.
