“I am so grateful that we have such a cozy, unique theater in our area. It is the only place around that you can see such a variety of diverse independent films. Our support of these films is vital to their continued existence. Plus, you are always greeted by Bryan B’s smiling face offering you delicious food and drink before you enter the charming little theater space. What’s not to like?“

“We visit Pops Diner yearly on our annual Fall Break vacation. The food is always great, and the portions are large. This year was not our best experience. We visited twice—once at breakfast and once at lunch. Both times our waitress seemed to be overly busy. Drinks sat unfilled and condiments were forgotten. The food also took an unusually long time to reach our table. Lunch was the most unexpected. Our table asked for A1 and our waitress stated that they only had the packs which would be $1 EACH after the first pack. I know everything is expensive, and believe me I get making a profit on food. However, $1 for each package of A1 seems excessive to me. Why not offer bottled A1 just like ketchup? We ended up trying a new diner in town after our less than expected experience.“

As I stood at the counter I could see the food that was coming out and everything looked freshly prepared. I only had eyes for their apple butter bars. And they did not disappoint. “From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The wings were some of the best I’ve had in years—big, meaty, and offered in a wide variety of flavors so there’s something for everyone. What impressed me most was the menu. It’s not just wings!! they truly have a huge selection, from hotdogs to Mexican food to classic favorites. The variety makes it easy to bring the whole family because everyone will find something they love. The prices are the best I’ve seen in a long time, and the service was top-notch. The laid-back, fun atmosphere made it a place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. Plus, it was very clean, which says a lot about how much pride they take in their restaurant. For a place that’s only been around a year, they’re absolutely knocking it out of the park. We will definitely be back..and I highly recommend giving them a try!“

“Went here for Thanksgiving dinner. All of the staff did a fantastic job in taking care of the amount of people they had throughout the day. Can't say enough. Food was Great. Congratulations Golden Corral on a job well done by all staff.“

“Stopped in for a quick bite on our way home to Pennsylvania. It was decent service, quick ordering. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. The price you can’t beat either… $16 for 2 people, plus a $4 tip. Very reasonable. Fresh food as well!“

“My wife and I took a homeward detour coming back from the beach and visited the Burntshirt Vineyards. We then headed for the St. Paul Vineyards, only to find that they were fairly crowded, and that we'd previously visited there on an Asheville trip four years earlier. As we were driving out, I realized that we were only minutes away from Sonic happy hour, and an iced tea sounded like something I could get charged up about. Maria began looking for one on her phone, but something about the surrounding terrain seemed familiar, and I told her I sensed a Sonic close by. As expected, one appeared as we crested a hill, and it was the same one we'd had lunch at four years earlier. Burgers and iced tea were very good. Servers on roller skates continue to astound me. I have an aversion to body casts.“
