“My wife & I ate breakfast there 5/10/24….I didn’t get the waitress’s name. Service was good. The food was delicious, my wife got blueberry French toast & I got a bacon,egg & provolone cheese croissant along with a side bowl of milk gravy both meals were delicious !! We would highly recommend !! Thank you Purple Onion for a great experience !! Yes, we even took home some baked goods !! Yummy !! May God bless y’all !! ❤️❤️“

“If I could give a 10 rating 10 times I would! I ordered a 20-person package of bbq & chicken with slaw & potato salad. It was delicious & included iced tea, cups, paper plates, napkins, utensils, bbq sauce, hush puppies, & even salt & pepper…….plus ice. I couldn’t have asked for better food & service…….it was ready at pick-up time & rolled out on a cart with help to load into my car. I would definitely recommend this for a crowd & will definitely do this again!! Thank you, Smithfield’s in Shallotte!!!!“

“We have had issues finding places we like (a lot of the places around her have been bland). We came from an area where we were pretty spoiled with great restaurants and Wing & Fish has been the only place so far that is comparable. We have been here three times so far and they have been very consistent each time. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and attentive.“

The owner of the restaurant always make sure that we’re satisfied with the quality of service and food. I was in the restaurant business before moving onto my career. For almost 15 years. It helped me get through school and pay for a lot. So I have understanding of European cuisine fusion and other types of Cuisines that typically people find appealing. This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is always on point. I’ve been dining here takeout and dine in for two years plus. If there’s ever a discrepancy with my order? The owner always makes things right. Phenomenal service, phenomenal food, and until the day I die, this restaurant will have my business. If you’re on vacation or you’re here playing golf? Hell, if you’re a person that just moved here and looking for a great spot to call home? I highly recommend this restaurant. If I was only allowed to give them five out of five stars? They would have a solid five stars and I’ll be looking for a way to create another star. They are that good. Thank you so much for quality food and excellent service. “I had my April 2024 wedding here and the experience is almost indescribable. I had this venue booked for more than a year, and as you can imagine, I had a lot of questions. I communicated with the manager, Marnie, more than 100 times via email and I ALWAYS received a quick response with my questions answered even with my events months down the line. The food and staff at this venue are amazing. My wedding went off without a hitch and all the compliments were on the food, friendly staff, and beautiful panoramic views of the beach. The food was great! We served the pecan chicken and a pasta station. The guests raved about the chicken and waffle slider appetizer as well. As soon as the dances were over and we sat at our sweetheart table we were immediately greeted with food from Marnie and a staff member. This goes to show their level of professionalism and attentiveness. The kids' food was also served first and that impressed parents. I was told this was the first wedding that occurred and they were thrilled. I only have wonderful things to say. You will not be let down with any event you host at the Isles. Thanks Marnie!! You guys are amazing. I need to find another event to throw just so I can come back!“

I am a local and feel that not only was our serivce exceptional but the food was on par with several mislin star places in New york that I have eaten. even food i usally dont like like squash i loved here. I will be 100 percent going back and look forward to it being my new spot.“

“This was our first time trying Amelia's while at Ocean Isle Beach and we were presently surprised. The Margaritas were really good! We ordered the the Greek dinner salad and the Petite Filet Steak Sandwich and they were both excellent. The waitress suggested we try the Hummingbird cake for dessert and that was so good, were glad we tried it. Amelia's is a local gem and we'll be back.“

“They have two gentlemen on their dock to help you tie up. When we finished lunch my power steering hose leaked. Nick the dock worker helped me get back on the water big shout out to Nick at Provisions. The food was great it our go to place from the water.“

“1/2 and 1/2...love their bar pie with a beer. Went today had chicken Florentine and the chicken was horrible, not even bad but horrible. Over cooked, dry and awful. Thought the waitress would refuse to serve but she did ..will never have dinner there again although I will return for beer and pizza but that is it.“

“How they keep return customers, I don't know. We keep trying to have a good experience but have been disappointed almost every time. Parking lot looks like an area trash point, service is slow, food is mediocre (which is OK for a beach bar, if it is consistently good, warm and tasty). We need good restaurants in Sunset Beach, this one has a looong way to go. The food trucks in the park across the street offer a better dining experience, which is sad.“
