The place's decor reminds me of a combo of the 70's and a beach/ocean vibe, the era when we grew up. It's a cute place and the waitresses were sweethearts both times.”

“i’ve been seeing this place for a long time and decided to stop in with my son. The employees were so friendly and nice helped direct me on what to pick. I’ve never had Boba before and they let me try it to see what type I would like, didn’t know there was more than one type of Boba. She updated me on how everything worked in different things that I could try really everything is completely customizable. They also have a lot of coffee options, which is great for a quick grab. We also tried little cake bites that were pumpkin flavored tasted amazing and I personally got the Thai milk tea with strawberry poppers, chefs kiss and my son got the swamp water with boba their special. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing in there. They had games for us to be able to play it was a cute little getaway date for me and my son. I am going to definitely plan to have my girlfriends meet up here one day so excited we tried this place and definitely will come back”

“Fresh, Fresh, Fresh! I just stopped for a late lunch and ordered the Heirloom tomato and steak salad weekly special. Everything including basil, buratta and the local heirloom tomatoes were so flavorful and the steak was perfectly cooked. The chimichurri was the perfect combination to this seasonal salad. It’s so nice to enjoy such amazing food right here in Downtown Elizabeth City where I live-Hoppin John’s is always the greatest place for southern food and hospitality!! The ambience has never changed & I take great comfort in walking in and ordering the steaming miso soup, a side salad, tempura veggies & my most favored dish. It's akin to visiting an old friend you haven't seen in awhile, and you pick up right where you left off!
Service is very prompt, courteous and always helpful if you're interested in trying a dish or side you've never tasted before.

“My wife and I go to doctors in Moyock and quite often we stop in at Hardee's. They have the nicest people working there. Yesterday Mr. Thomas waited on us and even brought our order to the table we were sitting at. This is not the first time and employee has done this for us. We are both in our middle to late 70s and their service to their customers is out standing.”

Currituck BBQ has fantastic to go options for large parties. Extremely fast service! Everyone loved it, and the sides! Worth the drive! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
