“Me & My Wife, Mother and My Brother all went to eat on a Friday around 11:30AM. We waited a max of five minutes. We was seated it was not crowded. The waitress was amazing with getting our orders put in and it was back quickly. Which it kinda of scared me, but to my surprise the food was fresh, had amazing flavor, and was hot. I would recommend that if you wanted a great breakfast and good place to catch up with family or friends, this is the perfect place for that. “Sliced Brisket Plate: Slight mis-communication in that I asked for sliced lean and guessing was misheard. Nevertheless, the Brisket was Good. Not the best I’ve had but acceptable. Three sauces on the table. Joe’s, Texas Hot and Joe!s Hot. Noteworthy that no KC Sweet.Potato Salad is more of a mashed with some crunchy bits mixed in and the Beans were not over cooked to mush. “I love this place. I learned about it a few years in Our State. I have been going here every since. The staff is very friendly. Dennis is so nice. I have to have my chicken wings, even if I get the fried fish, I still have to get a least one chicken wing. I will be going back again tomorrow. I have to get some potatoe salad for my Mom. She loves it. The breakfast is great. They get you a nice portion. I live in Greensboro,but I'm in high point a lot, so that's my favorite restaurant there. The guy that takes us order is my buddy. “Lucky's never disappoints. We come here often, and always bring our out of town guests to enjoy themselves. The food is fantastic--lunch or dinner. Some of our favorites are the Reuben, burgers (especially the Irish Burger), hot dogs, grilled chicken wrap, and the onion rings. The atmosphere is that of a comfortable, neighborhood Irish pub. They have something great happening all the time so check in often. The bands are always great. You can catch multiple sporting events on the televisions any time. And you can play pool or play in their tournament (Monday evenings?). The staff is always friendly and will take great care of you.“

I’m overly full and I can eat a heavy portion. Homemade slaw and bbq sauce lip smack in good. “I had the secret menu item of a triple bacon cheeseburger with grilled and raw onions. The burgers were cooked perfectly, still juicy and I didn’t have to have any ketchup or condiments it was so good. Waitress was very attentive and helped with ordering because that burger is not on the favorites menu it is on the full menu behind the counter.“

“Overall good experience. We came a bit late but they still let us order small bites. They had a great variety of beers spanning from $0.35 - $0.85 per ounce. They also have a rotation or cocktails on tap and a prosecco. Seating is 1st come 1st served. Only issue, the mac was very soupy, it probably needed a smidge longer in the oven but we took it to go and jazzed it up at home later.“
