“Was down at Holden Beach. Found Mankins on way out over the bridge. They do have breakfast, see pic. I did not rate them a 5 because of multiple reasons. It is an inexpensive good food joint with lots to offer. That is positive. One thing is that the Air Conditioning was working it just did not feel that cool in there. The door keeps opening and closing and the kitchen puts out some heat. They could improve that. The other thing was the bathroom door was left wide open the whole entire time I was there. Maybe put a sign up that asks patrons to close the door on the way out. Atmosphere seem good, maybe put some background music in. This one guy was sitting a table next to me and he had to be three sheets to the wind. Very loud talker, keep slurring words. Hey it's happy hour someplace in the world all the time. But for 1230 pm, he was blasted. It's kind of like a less expensive version of PT Grille.“

“My wife & I ate breakfast there 5/10/24….I didn’t get the waitress’s name. Service was good. The food was delicious, my wife got blueberry French toast & I got a bacon,egg & provolone cheese croissant along with a side bowl of milk gravy both meals were delicious !! “I had my April 2024 wedding here and the experience is almost indescribable. I had this venue booked for more than a year, and as you can imagine, I had a lot of questions. I communicated with the manager, Marnie, more than 100 times via email and I ALWAYS received a quick response with my questions answered even with my events months down the line. The food and staff at this venue are amazing. My wedding went off without a hitch and all the compliments were on the food, friendly staff, and beautiful panoramic views of the beach. The food was great! We served the pecan chicken and a pasta station. The guests raved about the chicken and waffle slider appetizer as well. As soon as the dances were over and we sat at our sweetheart table we were immediately greeted with food from Marnie and a staff member. This goes to show their level of professionalism and attentiveness. The kids' food was also served first and that impressed parents. I was told this was the first wedding that occurred and they were thrilled. I only have wonderful things to say. You will not be let down with any event you host at the Isles. Thanks Marnie!! You guys are amazing. I need to find another event to throw just so I can come back!“

“I really enjoy visiting Sea Trail. I visit at least 4 times a year. The course renovations are a good start, wish you could finish though. You cut down so many trees, but left all the roots! And you buried cart paths, tar and all. How much more cost would it have been to remove tree roots and cart paths? And where is the driving range??? With 3 courses, you need a range!!!!!“

“We have had issues finding places we like (a lot of the places around her have been bland). We came from an area where we were pretty spoiled with great restaurants and Wing & Fish has been the only place so far that is comparable. We have been here three times so far and they have been very consistent each time. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and attentive.“

“Cool little old school burger joint in Ocean Isle Beach. Burger was decent. Would have been better with a little more seasoning and a toasted bun. Best thing was you could get a side of fried okra! That was yummy. Sweet tea was also good but not too sweet. Friendly staff and I would return. They do offer outside seating and a walk up window in front.“

I came from Charlotte (found out the owner is from Charlotte too) and I came in 20 mins before closing (I didnt know they closed at 3) and they still didn't rush me out. “Roberto's is a preferred dining destination for us. Their steak, chicken, and fish entrees are exceptional. My husband's top choices are the Salmon Rockefeller and the Sweet Chili Thai Salmon. I highly recommend the Crab Dip appetizer, and the Cheese Ravioli with Vodka sauce entree is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Roberto's is an excellent choice for a night out with family and friends. I suggest making a reservation, as it is a busy time of year. Enjoy your dining experience at Roberto's and your summer vacation.“

“Our family had the best meal all week during our vacation at Feast OIB! The owner/chef greeted us at the door and seated us. The wedge salad was delicious with homemade blue cheese dressing. The lobster risotto was wonderful and beautifully presented. The crab legs were super meaty and tender. There are great options for kids too! Amazing, friendly service with a smile. As we were leaving, the owner/chef was cleaning tables and making sure things were running smoothly. We were very impressed! I also love that the menu was clearly labeled with MANY gluten free options.“

It was delicious & included iced tea, cups, paper plates, napkins, utensils, bbq sauce, hush puppies, & even salt & pepper…….plus ice. I couldn’t have asked for better food & service…….it was ready at pick-up time & rolled out on a cart with help to load into my car.
