“I was so disappointed when I learned they no longer served the Bruschetta. this was the best appetizer they served. I still give them 5's as this is my favorite restaurant but I do wish they would reconsider bringing back the Bruschetta.“

“Absolutely incredible restaurant, the service is fantastic, the food is wonderful and fresh, the drinks are amazing and it is well lit and has a good atmosphere. We got the seafood dip, mussels, ciabatta bread, and Alfredo pasta. We are in town for a family get together and this dish has been a classic staple BUT one of our members always does the leg work, sourcing of all the ingredients, and cooking. We decided to give this place a try and while we thought they cooked the whole thing for us… we were surprised to know they prep it all, source it all and deliver it to us to quickly put the pot on the stove and cook it all in 30 minutes. This crew made it easy! Plus the entire meal was incredibly flavorful. It’s like ‘take and cook’. We got the traditional plus a couple crab pots and out it all together! Fed 12 and not a drop left. “The donuts are unbeatable and depending on what you have going on well worth the wait. However, don’t expect to get your donuts in any specific order. People in front and behind you may get their bag before you do. Also, there’s no limit, after waiting for 30 minutes on your 6 donuts someone behind you will walk out with 36 and you’ll feel great.“

They took our name and number and suggested to be added to the waitlist which helped cut down our wait time when we arrived. Service was excellent and food is delicious. “I was so excited to visit Nauti Dog after seeing the vegan options that people on here said were available, so I was a bit disappointed to find they had cut a lot of them out ( or at least I wasn’t told about them all). However, they still offered the Impossible Brat as a substitute. So I got the German Dog on the French baguette with the Impossible Brat. It was delicious! Love their homemade chips and their fries, also. All in all, a good vegan option but I wish they still offered the Beyond Mi. “We stopped in for dinner our last night in Carolina Beach. Every time we drove past it during our stay, it was full of guest outside so we figured it had to be good. Well good is an understatement!!! We must of hit at the perfect time bc it wasn't overly busy and we found seating inside with no wait. Our waitress was at the table as soon as we sat down and was so attentive our entire visit. We actually even had a second waitress check on us as well. We were highly impressed with the service before we ever got our meals.We ordered the pretzel bites for an appetizer, I ordered the chicken nachos and my husband got the grilled veggie wrap with a side of broccoli. The food was outstanding!!! There was not a lot of talking going on bc we both were chowing down lol My nachos were absolutely delicious and the portion size was huge! My husband really enjoyed his veggie wrap as well! We didn't sit at the bar but it looked very nice and had a huge flat screen front and center. I loved looking around at all the cool eclectic decor! We visited right after Christmas and there were Christmas lights strung up everywhere outside and it looked beautiful! I highly recommend & definitely will be stopping in again on our next visit to Carolina Beach!“

“Island Times cafe at Deep Point Marina is a great place to support coming to or from Bald Head Island. The food is delicious and tastes homemade, and definitely worth the stop. My favorite, favorite item on the menu is their breakfast casserole. It is sooo good! It’s a must to eat with hot sauce. Hubby and I also had the coconut cake during our last visit in Oct. It certainly won’t be the last!“

I could not believe that they also offered a triple, and even a quad. We were so happy, we went back today to try the seafood. We had the shrimp (scrimp on the menu), and the flounder baskets. The chicken tacos needed more flavor. The chicken was very bland. The service was okay with them only having one waitress. The restaurant is very small. It would have been better if it was bigger and had extra servers.“

I realized tonight that the only item on the menu I have never tried was the hotdogs, so that's what I ordered. I will fall asleep tonight dreaming about the best hotdogs I've ever had (gotta get them all the way). “Best place to go! Service was amazing and food was hot. There was a lady running around cleaning, taking food out, putting people at a seat that came in, everything. She was walking around talking to everyone and when she got to us she asked if everything was great and if we needed anything. We talked for a minute and I asked to speak with her manager because she was doing so much and wanted to let someone know how wonderful she was doing. Come to find out she said she was the manager Samantha. I told her it was nice to see a manager who works with her staff in every way and that we would definitely be back when we are this way.“
