“My wife and I had a fantastic dinner experience at 131 Main! The atmosphere is perfect for upscale casual dining - inviting and stylish. Our server, Kellie, was top-notch. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was great.The food came out incredibly fast, in about 10 minutes, and everything was piping hot. We could tell the ingredients were fresh by the taste and perfect seasoning. I had the slow roasted chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful, and the smashed potatoes were a perfect complement. My wife ordered the crabcakes, and they were loaded with succulent crabmeat. “My hubs and I had our third visit just over a week ago. This is the third time I've had their chicken fried chicken dish, and it is just as delicious as the first time! Perfect portions, no leftovers! The steampot is wonderful as well as the bbq plate (with 3 choices, I believe). The prices are perfectly reasonable! “As you pass the Skinny Cook, it looks like a hole in a wall restaurant, but it's much more. It's where you eat home cooked meals with family or friends. It's a well-known place by all locals in Monroe. It stays busy for breakfast and lunch. The prices are very reasonable, you can't beat it. I had lunch there and ordered the loaded tots and chicken wings. The wings were spicy but not super hot, just right. The loaded tots came with tons of melted cheese and bacon bits. Absolutely delicious ?.“

This business is about 5 min from our home and the atmosphere was great.I had the pick 2 Burrito and Taco, rice and refried beans. My Wife had the Pick 2 with Burrito's. The food was seriously well prepared and the taste was really good. Usually the beef at some restaurants has a dog food taste to it. This beef was very good and was seasoned well.We will be going back often.“

The flavor that was there was good but I like things kicked up a notch. The cole slaw was good. I really liked it. It was fresh and the combination of cabbage and spices was good. I think I tasted small bites of apple in it and that was a great surprise. I'd definitely swing by here again for a second sandwich.“

“I haven't eaten in a Captain Dee's this nice since I was a kid in 2010. Most Captain Dee's seem run down now with mediocre service and low quality food. This location was ANYTHING BUT THAT. I was greeted by Latosha who took my order. She was so friendly and sweet for the job she works, I've never had such a wonderful experience at a Captain Dee's with that kind of service. Aside from her beautiful spirit, my food was DELICIOUS. everything was piping hot and super fresh! I had the blackened tilapia with rice, green beans and steamed broccoli. I will only go to this Captain Dee's location and I highly recommend it. Please give Latosha a raise.“
