He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy, even after business hours when the restaurant is technically closed. “Man… this place is hands down probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had in charlotte. The atmosphere, service, plating, menu etc are all very very impressive. The MOST impressive was Tommy and his extensive knowledge in wines and sparkling wines.. he took our table on an incredible journey pairing delicious wines and trivia with the exquisite dishes that Will and the boys prepared. I personally had the bison bolognese with handmade pasta and he brought an insanely awesome Cab out to pair it with- Dude was cruising around casually in a t-shirt absolutely OWNING his craft. Not only was my pállete entertained but we also learned a shit-ton about the wine and its origins. For the first time in 10+ years I didn’t feel like I was caught up in a get-in/get-out high dollar dining scheme- rather, it was an amazing immersive experience. If I thought I could pay double just to experience last night over again I would make multiple reservations to do so. The current menu and staff as well as management is absolutely crushing and impressing. I don’t see how this place doesn’t have a solid 5 star rating. Keep it up please! I will be back very soon.“

“The fish and chips I had here were pretty exceptional for an unassuming-looking American restaurant. Fish was fried well and was crispy. Needed more salt. But the medallion-style fries were unironically the best fries I've had outside my kitchen. Perfectly crispy exterior, soft interior, seasoned with Lawry's, and came out piping hot.

Even the slaw-- which is never good-- WAS good.

Will definitely be back just for those fries.“

“Eat there every time we are in the area. We always enjoy the home cooked food. Tonight my husband had the baked chicken with dressing, green beans and black eyed peas. I had the sausage with cabbage, mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. Both meals were delicious!!“

The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). I only received a brief apology from the manager, that didn't seem sincere; and one from the waitress, who was fairly new. I ended up ordering the chicken sandwich, that a friend had recommended, earlier. It was very good! By the time it arrived, my friend had eaten half of her meal, so I pretty much ate alone. I will definitely go back, but won't order a steak. I will order the Rose' Spritz, too. One of the best cocktails I've ever had!“
