“My kids and I have celiac disease (and food allergies). So, birthdays usually mean I'm in the kitchen making something until I discovered Sweetheart Treats! We have had their cupcakes for two family birthday celebrations. And they even heroically saved me when I messed up my Wegmans order - baking me 18 cupcakes in an hour's time so that the party could go on. Also, the cinnamon rolls are amazing. :)

“With Anna’s help I ordered some pastries for a party we are having coming up. First time experience with Mexican pastries. I left with a savory jalapeño bread that had ham and cream cheese in it and it was amazing! I need to go back and get some more of those when I pick up my party order! The bread was so tasty and fresh. I also had churros which were crispy deliciousness! Great place for pastries of any kind.

Parking: There were some spots in front but I parked on the side street to the right because I have a walker. The side entrance has a step. The front entrance didn’t have a step and was a push open door. It wasn’t heavy at all.“

“This 5 star review is for Jessica in the bakery. I was there one Saturday and talked to her about needing 48 cupcakes for the following Saturday, and I wanted a mixture of chocolate and vanilla. She asked the reason for the event, and I told her it was dinner for my son that had gotten married. She offered to make them “special” and SPECIAL they were!! She decorated them so pretty! It was not the average looking cupcake. She tile me she would personally decorate them for me. She was not there when we picked up, but I hope someone will tell her about this review! And we were asked more than once that night, “Who did the cupcakes?” We gave the Walmart bakery a shoutout!! We told them to ask for Jessica if they ordered. I also want to say I just love William the greeter. He makes me smile every time I see him, even if I am having a bad day. I only have one complaint, but it’s not just for this Walmart so I will not reduce my 5 star review: WHY in the world does Walmart not take Apple Pay?? Even Dollar Tree has Apple Pay! I do not like using my card. I prefer to tap pay with my phone. Someone needs to take this one to the top and get it changed. But great job, Jessica and William. You make me want to go to this Walmart every time, and I’m situated between 3 Walmarts fairly equally in distance. I’ll choose Clayton Walmart over Knightdale and Smithfield every time!!“

“I love coming to this location simply because of the people! But what really ticks my buttons about this place and others stores as well . I’m 100% sure every hardworker & work , is unappreciated . I’ve watched this sweet young lady up front bust her tail to make sure she keeps things running smoothly but Im pretty sure like most stores , she gets no thank u or appreciation ! I’ve seen this young lady all this week because I’ve seen her the 3 times I’ve visited this week. I spoke with her & simply just wanted to tell her thank u and how awesome she was . I watched her check on her cashiers and make sure they’ve had break or simply concerned about their wellbeing! I’m not sure if she’s a member of management or not . The cashiers were addressing her as team lead So I’m assuming that must be some type of management. All I’m getting at with this review is , management stop & take time to meet & thank your employees !“
