“We were so delighted to find this gem while traveling in Burlington. My chicken salad was perfect and fresh fruit was refreshing. My son’s cheeseburger was cooked to perfection and his fries were nice and crisp. We also thoroughly enjoyed our chocolate chess pie and crème brûlée deserts. Wait staff was very attentive but not overly so. I wish we had this restaurant at home, because I would definitely be a “regular”!“

“Southbound is a great little sandwich shop located within the Correct Time Plaza. Perfect spot for Sunday lunch. There are no servers at the restaurant, you order with the cashier, choose and fill your drink, then pick a table. They will call out your number whenever it is ready for pickup at the window. They have railroad memorabilia around the shop to look at, which is definitely interesting. Their soups and sandwiches are all delicious! Not too fancy, but not too casual of a place. It lands perfectly in the middle. I definitely recommend South Bound!“

“I have passed this place many many times.. I was NOT expecting what I received…From the moment I walked in I was greeted pleasantly with smiles and welcomes!I was immediately seated by a super fabulous waitress who was extremely attentive. I had to wait no more than 10 minutes after I was seated that my breakfast came out. I was shocked at the amount of food I received, a pancake that covered the entire plate, omelette with lots of stuffings, hash browns cooked perfectly and the coffee was so fresh! I love love love this place and will be coming back. Kudos to the cooks and the staff for a wonderful experience!“
“The platonic ideal Italian sub/hoagie. You will not find better in the area, especially not in this price range. Also love the turkey cranberry. A lot of great items on their menu that are hard to find locally (Taylor ham on a hard roll??), especially done well. The family deal is a steal. Italian sub with a brownie is my birthday, special occasion, and last meal, if I’m lucky.“
“Service was excellent, as usual at Chick-fil-A!Today I got the new Pimento Honey Chicken Sandwich with the spicy chicken - I was not disappointed. Great combination of flavors. Be warned though, it's a little messy/sticky because of the honey and pimento. It's not a sandwich you want to get if you're driving. I won't hesitate to get this again!Parking: As usual at Chick-fil-A the drive through lines get long, so you have to navigate around those, but there's plenty of parking around the lot.“
“What a find! In quaint downtown Burlington is a food hall where Go Burrito! is located. They feature a number of signature burritos as well as nachos, quesadilla, and tacos which can all cone with veggies, chicken, pork, beef, or steak. The food is made to order with fresh ingredients. I went with the burritohead which was really similar to a crunch wrap supreme from Taco Bell…but way better! It’s a tostada wrapped in a grilled tortilla with cheese, chicken, chips, pico, and chipotle ranch sour cream. It was sooooo good! The right amount of each ingredient in every bite from beginning to end. So flavorful. YUM! It came with a side of tortilla chips and an assortment of salsas are available. The person having lunch with me had the San Diego Burrito and liked theirs just as much as I liked mine. It had steak, cheese, guacamole, pico, chipotle ranch sour cream and French fries. The prices were incredible too. “They're trying but service was slow and learning. Food didn't taste fresh and took a while to arrive. They had no soda to offer and sweet tea tasted funny. Had to wait on refills and no extra bread was offered. Dang the prices went up.“
“I took my college softball team here after a road series and Keith and his team were absolutely incredible! They were organized and got the food out to the 25 people extremely fast with zero issues. We will definitely stop by again when our schedule permits.“
