Michael had shrimp and grits and we had a nice, romantic dinner. Evan was our server and he treated us like we were VIPs. Highly recommend this restaurant is so close to our home.“

Our wait staff Gianna(?) could not have been more helpful, attentive, and accommodating with recommendations. I had the black and bleu burger--so good. And they didn't skimp on the bread as some do; potato roll was flavorful. Ingredients fresh. I was concerned with not being able to select cook temperature, but it was perfect, about medium well and juicy. I wanted just a side portion of the Greek salad, which I was grateful they accommodated (I didn't leave a bite in the bowl--so good!). Others enjoyed the crab cake (no filler! Well done -- and we get the MD ones as we're DMV, so can confirm it doesn't disappoint); classic burger; pimento burger; and wings. Plates were cleared. Don't miss those onion rings. Flavorful, ample. Definitely worth it. Great vibe, folks enjoying the bar with delicious cocktails and games on the TVs. We would go again.“

“The cafe is part of the art museum and what a treat it was for our visit. There was a large party of lovely ladies speaking French, a smattering of children visiting with their mothers, and a few other visitors such as ourselves enjoying the lovely fall Wilmington weather and the lunch fare available. You really must go if you are in the Wilmington area. It is a wonderful experience for young and old alike.“

Prices are good, Bloody Mary with bacon and omelet were both delicious but the best part was probably Debbie our server. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you stop in and give them a try. “I am a new resident to town and have been making my way around to the locally owned spots. I popped in for lunch and had the most delicious cheeseburger! I ended up adding on hushpuppies, which were also delicious. The diner is a step back in time and absolutely adorable with counter and booth seating. My burger came with fries and homemade sweet tea, which was very refreshing.The owner was kind and invited me back. I told her the next time I am in, I am getting the fried apple pie and ice cream!“

“I've eaten at The MLRC three times and every experience was the same. There were abundant amounts of lobster, the rolls were prepared exactly as ordered, helpful staff, and the space was clean. Every time. Is it pricey? Sure; it's lobster and it's delicious. I think it's a good value and I will definitely be back.“

“First time in the area, thought I’d give this place a try . Everyone was nice , especially the guy taking care of us, I believe Justin was his name. He recommended the lemon ricotta pancakes, I was skeptical but thought I would step out of my comfort zone and MAN WERE THEY GOOD! If I’m ever in the area I know where I’m eating for brunch! I hope To come across Justin as my waiter again! My glass was always full! (Which is a big deal for me)“
