“We are driving home from Myrtle beach to northeast Ohio and decided to grab pizza on our way home. I found that Winston Salem was a pretty good middle stopping point and looked for top rated pizza in the area. I found Burkes after searching through a couple different options and to say the least we are overly impressed. We love pizza and this is definitely top 5 best pizzas we’ve eaten. The girl who answer the phone was awesome at answering all my questions and we ended up getting at 16” chicken pesto, and added all our favorite toppings and a slice of the grandma pep cup. It was cooked to perfection when I ordered it “well done” and my slice was HUGE. Highly recommended as it was super fresh .“

The Cheese Steak Works was awesome. The salads are great and HUGE (best when they’re really cold). The Margherita pizza is fantastic, but you may want to just eat it with a fork. Overall, Vinnie’s is my new favorite!“

“Very friendly service. Food was hot and fresh. Food was ready in 10 minutes. I ordered the Cheesesteak meal (under $10) and the cheesecake (around $6, i think). Really good. I will definitely order again. Although I haven't tried the pizza, it looked good too. May try it next time.“

I understand they sit in the sauce but they were nowhere near crispy and the chicken didn’t feel done. A little disappointed seeing that we order from here at least once a month.“

“Can't beat the price. My nephew and I grabbed lunch at Cicis. He was extremely pleased and ate til he was comatose (5 slices of pepperoni). I had a salad and 2 slices of spinach pizza. Add 2 drinks, and our cost was @$ 6-7 each. The place was clean, and the buffet pizzas and salad were fresh; a decent lunch. Kids are talking about going again. They want to check out the game room...“

“Update...Got takeout tonight from this location and pizza was much better than the last time. It tasted like the usual HH I was used to.

I usually go to the Hungry Howie's at Miller Creek in Davidson County. They are always spot on. However I was around Country Club Rd so I picked up pizza from here. I don't know who was cooking the pizzas but the crust was tough and chewy and the pizza had virtually no sauce. The original style crust wasn't fluffy like usual, it resembled almost more of a thin crust. It was the first time I've had pizza at a Hungry Howie's and thought it was not good. I had pizza from this location a year or two ago with no issues. Hope they can get this fixed.“

“Every place has its off days. This place had one the other day but usually they're pretty great.

Staff is always friendly and trying to do their best. There's a manager there that's always hustling to get orders done and out as fast as he can. They're probably short staffed most of the time so the fact that they get pizzas out as fast as they do it's awesome.“
