“Went in for a quick drink and ended up staying a little longer than I planned. The mini bar has a nice laid-back feel and the staff was friendly without being overbearing. There wasn't a huge selection, but they had enough options to find something I liked. The place was clean and the music volume was just right, so it was easy to relax and chat. Prices seemed pretty fair too. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I'd probably come back when I'm in the area again.“

“This is one of those places you might scoff at going to at first. But it's the best kind of dive bar you can find yourself in. Good drink and great staff. The weekends have good bands and I enjoyed seeing Tossing Jellyfish. Overall it has my favorite qualities of a bar, less people and good drinks.“

“I wanted to take the time to tell you what a great experience we had last night! The service from the bartender and manager on shift last night was top notch! Both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and beers offered on tap. We sampled a few items from the tap and found some new favorites! The bartender made me a pickle martini after I expressed how much I loved pickles! Food was great, drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! It’s so refreshing to meet people who love what they do! We will be back our next trip to Fargo for sure!“

“Me and my girlfriend came out tonight (on a Saturday night) after waiting 30/45 min at a Applebees with no sign of seeing a table…walked in to be greeted right away by a hostess and was seated right away. Food was AMAZING staff was as friendly as they come greeting us as we walked in and telling us to have a good night on our way out. Food was 🔥 🔥 10/10 from the Stars ⭐️ we will be back out for more BBQ for sure!“

“I went here for lunch and dinner. Lunch got the pizza, it’s huge. Bartender was cool but a bit sarcastic, almost offensive. At night I came back for drinks and walleye bites. The food was great and the bar tender Cassie should get an award. She is amazing! Absolutely dominating that bar making sure everyone in the area was taken care of. Not sure her position but if she’s not management, she should be.
Overall great place. Pizza had to be eaten with fork as it is too soft to pick it up. It was very good though“

“I went in with a couple friends on a Friday night and ended up staying way longer than we planned. The place had a really good vibe without feeling too crowded or chaotic. Bartenders were cool and actually paid attention even when it got busy, which I appreciated. Drinks came out quick and tasted solid, not watered down like some places do. Music was at a good level too, loud enough to keep the energy up but you could still hold a conversation. Overall just a comfortable spot to hang out and unwind. I'd def come back again sometime.“

“We had a great time with the exceptional staff, Eric the KJ (karaoke jocky), better know as Erioke--forgive possible misspelling.
We came on Thursday 18 June AD/CE 2026 around 10:15 pm and left around 1:15 am Friday 19 June.
Eric is very encouraging, and fluently moves from song to song.
Tonight was bery popular , sonwhen you go, pit your song requests in early or you may not get a chance to sing. Many singers had superb voices and the variety of genres was great.
Not sure why they don't sell food, so consider coming with a full belly, especially if you are a normal drinker. I wanted to tip the bartender with my debit card for the lemon waters, because she needs to make a living, but she politely and with kindness declined.“

“The girl with the Leg Tattoo was very sweet and provided great service. I asked if I could turn the firepit on and she said it was too windy and was a fire hazard to which I obliged and didn't throw a temper tantrum for being told no. Also very cute bartenders.“

We went there tonight on Valentines Day and they were short staffed due to 2 of the 4 waiters didn't show and PACKED, this did NOT slow them down one bit! “My husband, toddler, and I were looking for a good spot to eat tonight. We stopped into Petro to check out one of their spots to eat. We decided to stop into Dolly Down, and are so glad we did! We really weren't sure what to expect at first, but ended up absolutely loving this place! The food was fantastic. They serve breakfast all day, so I ordered a full biscuits and gravy, my husband ordered an omelet and some French toast, and we got mini corn dogs with fries for our little one. The fries were so crispy and delicious, some of the best fries I've had in Fargo. Our toddler LOVED everything she got. She didn't waste a single bite! Husband said omelet and French toast was incredible. The biscuits and gravy was such a large portion! Very tasty, and I ordered some great hash browns on the side. Everything was cooked really well, we enjoyed everything we ordered! Our server was so nice and friendly. She was on top of everything! We never had an empty cup, and she made sure to check in on us often. She was the only one running the front, and she still took time to walk with everyone there. Her name is Sherry (sorry if I spelled it wrong). She was awesome. Thank you for your kind service! And lastly, the prices were really affordable. We will gladly come back and visit in the near future.“

“I want to send a massive thank you to the staff and management of Fargo Billiards & Gastropub ! They hosted us for Tim Green 60th Birthday party / Connor Hanson send off. Every single staff member was swamped as there were at least 100 people in there for pool league as well as our parties. NOT one of them complained and they were all busting butt to make our night so perfect! At the end of the night they comped the party room to honor Connor and our beloved soldiers. That kind of generosity and moral good is still out there folks! We will NEVER use anyone else for our parties and we are now going to make a point of frequent visits to our favorite place in Fargo! “Came in for dinner the other night and it was a pretty good experience overall. The place has a nice casual vibe, nothing too fancy but still comfortable. I ordered a burger with fries and it tasted fresh, maybe a little salty but still good. Portions were decent, I didn’t leave hungry thats for sure. Service was a bit slow at first but once we got our server, things moved along fine. Prices felt fair for what you get. Not the best meal I’ve ever had, but def solid and I’d go back again sometime.“

“They have live, local bands quite often. The atmosphere is very enjoyable if you can handle a little bit of a crowd and higher levels of noise. Staff is on top of things and quick to serve you . Outdoor patio for those who smoke . Had a great time while we visited. Crowd ranged from college aged students to older adults. The vibe is for everyone. They also have gaming along side the wonderful entertainment of live music!“
