“Believe the hype you've heard about this restaurant. They have such delicious, fresh food in big portions and a diverse menu. I had the pork katsu happy bowl and added the Japanese curry (which was AWESOME with the rice) and my husband got the kung pao spaghetti (which is as spicy as advertised; he loved it). The miso that came with our meals was flavorful and tasty, too. The service was super friendly and our order came out quickly, too. All in all, we will absolutely be back and can't recommend this restaurant enough!”

We were very impressed with the friendliness and service, amidst the chaos of 17 people talking over each other, singing Happy Birthday loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear (twice), and taking pictures with the birthday girl! We felt welcomed and comfortable, and service was so on-point that I don’t think any one of us saw the bottom of our drinking glass! If you’re looking for casual get together for a large group, I highly recommend Royal Buffet!”

I love how the textures are so similar to “normal” baked goods. I also have a dairy allergy and that isn’t always an option at gluten free places. I was also able to pick up some nut free items for friends that are nut free and gluten free. My favorites were the caramel and lemon blueberry!”

That being said, it's not at the fault if Chub's, it's a weird part of town after all. Anyway they were playing Casino on TV and I saw Tua get his 3rd or 4th concussion here so I whole-heartedly recommend Chub's!

Service was friendly and prompt. Easy to strike up a casual conversation with the gals working. The ratio of server to patron allows for drinks to flow continually. Employees whom one can see enjoy performing. Some may go as far as to call Specks Bar, a hidden gem.

She said, "Ummm as soon as one is ready." Debated staying, ultimately told her we were going to Longhorn. Her response was, "Ok. Bye." Ironically, we had enough time while standing there to read their LEAD acronym guide that was posted behind the desk. The first two, listen an empathize, must have slipped the hostess's mind as she didn't indicate that she cared about our wait or that we were leaving to eat at the competitor. The lady who was seating people made the comment that a bunch of the servers went on break at the same time. It seems that scheduling is another area that needs improvement at this establishment.”

“The best steak dinner we have had in a very long time. While traveling through Fargo, we googled local steak houses- and decided to give Cork ‘n cleaver a try. The aesthetic is cozy yet upbeat when walking in. We both commented that the prices on the menu were very reasonable. I ordered the filet medallion, and my friend ordered the club sirloin. Not only were our steaks cooked exactly to order, the quality was outstanding. Topped with a sensible amount of steak butter (seasoned with garlic and a kick), my filet was absolute perfection. We have plans to come back and try some pasta dishes the next time we are in Fargo. The service was equal in quality. Outstanding! This place is absolutely on our new go-to Fargo dinner spot. Hands down. A classic no bs steak house.”

Both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and beers offered on tap. We sampled a few items from the tap and found some new favorites! The bartender made me a pickle martini after I expressed how much I loved pickles! Food was great, drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! It’s so refreshing to meet people who love what they do! We will be back our next trip to Fargo for sure!”
