We were very impressed with the friendliness and service, amidst the chaos of 17 people talking over each other, singing Happy Birthday loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear (twice), and taking pictures with the birthday girl! We felt welcomed and comfortable, and service was so on-point that I don’t think any one of us saw the bottom of our drinking glass! If you’re looking for casual get together for a large group, I highly recommend Royal Buffet!”

There was SO much delicious meat in there, too, and I enjoyed the little pickle spears even more than regular cucumbers that usually are added to gyros. They were filling on their own, so we brought most of the tasty yellow rice home as leftovers (which they give you TONS of). All in all, an revenant experience. We'll definitely be back!”

Good unassuming place with a super friendly staff. My one compliant is everytime I've gone through the offsale is that there's always the strangest people inside or around the area. That being said, it's not at the fault if Chub's, it's a weird part of town after all. Anyway they were playing Casino on TV and I saw Tua get his 3rd or 4th concussion here so I whole-heartedly recommend Chub's!

Service was friendly and prompt. Easy to strike up a casual conversation with the gals working. The ratio of server to patron allows for drinks to flow continually. Employees whom one can see enjoy performing. Some may go as far as to call Specks Bar, a hidden gem.

Ironically, we had enough time while standing there to read their LEAD acronym guide that was posted behind the desk. The first two, listen an empathize, must have slipped the hostess's mind as she didn't indicate that she cared about our wait or that we were leaving to eat at the competitor. The lady who was seating people made the comment that a bunch of the servers went on break at the same time. It seems that scheduling is another area that needs improvement at this establishment.”

Having had managed the North Fargo location for over 20 years, I wondered if the quality and taste would be the same. While waiting for my pizza I could actually see part of the kitchen and make table! Wish I could have seen the whole kitchen, it looked huge. The location is beautiful and kept very clean. I could see the toppings on the make table looked exactly as I remembered. I was not disappointed! Same amazing Taco Pizza Happy Joes is known for! The price is definitely higher than I remember, but no more than most other places now days. Well worth it. Still the best Taco pizza hands down!”

“The best steak dinner we have had in a very long time. While traveling through Fargo, we googled local steak houses- and decided to give Cork ‘n cleaver a try. The aesthetic is cozy yet upbeat when walking in. We both commented that the prices on the menu were very reasonable. I ordered the filet medallion, and my friend ordered the club sirloin. Not only were our steaks cooked exactly to order, the quality was outstanding. Topped with a sensible amount of steak butter (seasoned with garlic and a kick), my filet was absolute perfection. We have plans to come back and try some pasta dishes the next time we are in Fargo. The service was equal in quality. Outstanding! This place is absolutely on our new go-to Fargo dinner spot. Hands down. A classic no bs steak house.”

“Accessibility was awesome. I needed it. Seating was immediate even being busy. The staff is pleasant and accomodating. Food was delicious, fresh and hot. Plenty left home for another meal. The best taco salad I have ever had in the city.”

Both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and beers offered on tap. We sampled a few items from the tap and found some new favorites! The bartender made me a pickle martini after I expressed how much I loved pickles! Food was great, drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! It’s so refreshing to meet people who love what they do! We will be back our next trip to Fargo for sure!”

“First time was a success. I love the small atmosphere. Food was great. Make sure you make a reservation. The only con is it is loud in there and hard to hear. Our server was very good and even brought us birthday desserts. I would highly recommend. Please post more photos as we like to see the food. Plates passing by all looked great as well and we had to ask what everything was. 😁”
