“I got married at Moonlight Ridge and would do it over and over again! Darin and Karen were easy to work with and were happy to answer any questions I had through my engagement and wedding planning. They were able to recommend other businesses in the area to work with that they personally trusted and appreciated the results of. When it came to the days leading up to the wedding, they took care of many logistical things were I would not have known where to start-how many chairs at each table, how many tables to have out, what arrangement of ceremony chairs would be best. During our reception they took care of the head table when it was time to open up the dance floor, and even opened up the south doors to expose another deck covered in vines and lights (the perfect spot for our last dance). Not only is the venue beautiful, I have personally seen the improvements they continue to make to their venue year after year. They have added a fountain, beautiful trees and landscaping, and have updated even their tables in the pavilion. They truly care about continuing to give their customers the best experience. And last but not least, their wine is pretty spectacular. Many of our guests left with their own bottles, and I know that even more guests enjoyed a glass of Moonlight Ridge wine during our reception. I am SO glad I picked Moonlight Ridge and would do so again without any hesitation!”

They have a wonderful restaurant, we will be returning frequently. We had the vermicelli noodle bowl, crispy noodles and we may have devoured the spring rolls before I got a picture.”

“Just like home, just like family. Came to GI for junk jaunt 3 years ago. We stopped at this cafe, because I like supporting local business's and its fun to meet and talk to the locals. Man... this stop was spot on. Loving folks, owner and staff. PLUS the locals.. we had a ball sitting there visiting with everyone... Solo, I made a trip thru Grand Island at a later date, so made a point to stop in. They remembered me... it had been nearly a year since was there. Guess what... we junk jaunted again this year, stopped in and hugs, caught up on things, like ole home week.. Oh dang, almost forgot ....THE FOOD.... totally perfect....the cook is amazing... and the PIES.... OMG.... out of this world good.... home made with LOVE mixed all over. Of the meals I;ve eaten there.... each one I say is the best, till I have the next one and then its the bestest... MHO: Skip the fast food joints, who don't care who you are... sit down, relax, enjoy the company, eat some wonderful food that is home cooked,made to order..... and actually, easy on the pocket book.... ...Never know who u mite meet, or become friends with while your enjoying a rush free meal.... I love that I could order a gluten-free grilled cheese with my home-made tasty tortilla soup and who could forget the incredible famous Dreisbach augratins! I nearly licked my bowl clean. Whether you need a quiet spot to start your morning with a delicious coffee, a sunny place for a perfect lunch or a romantic dinner idea for date night out, the Chocolate Bar quite impressively has something for everyone. “Old school 1940s cafe. Great classic food items. Easy straight to the point menu. Great coney Island dogs, burgers, fries, shakes and malts. A must stop for the nostalgia alone. Would definitely return l because I need to try the chili and pie a la mode. Good pricing. Amazing staff. One of the best waitress I had the pleasure of being served by. Kept up with the lunch rush above and beyond. I highly recommend the stop to anyone that is stopping on Grand Island.”

We had family in from out of town and had a large party- called ahead to give them a heads up and were rudely informed “we don’t take reservations” - we were not trying to make a reservation, we trying to give them a heads up - whatever. When we checked out the lady at the register hardly spoke to us and when we ask for a muffin to take home she proceeded to sack up a muffin for us - without any conversation whatsoever - then she decided to fill the cinnamon rolls before bringing out muffin to us and ringing up or ticket. Still not a word she gives my 86 year old Mom her change and say “have a good day”. My take on this Perkins -Great wait staff and food - crabby , inpatient, unhappy front of the house.”

“This is a review of the small restaurant inside the airport at Grand Island NE. The airport is small with not a great number of flights. So they open to cater mainly to departing passengers. Arriving passengers may not be able to have a meal after arrival. Just be aware. The staff and service were great. Some of the best airport food I have eaten from a sandwich type place. The price was more like a normal restaurant than airport overpriced food.”

They are open late and the food is amazing. We ordered the #24 (chicken fajitas) and two chicken enchiladas ??? both dishes were delicious. (The enchiladas were very good) The service was quick and great. Very kind young man working the drive thru. Glad it was so late and everywhere was closed giving us the opportunity to try a place we probably normally wouldn't have went to if our favorite places had been open. As I called jimmy johns to inform them about the mishap the guy on the phone had told me the Uber guy had carelessly grabbed it without asking for a name.(L Uber eats guy) but jimmy John’s had called me a second time and offered to have them deliver the correct order to me since they had felt bad even offering to remake the sandwich as well.
