“Juls and I are staying on Cow Island and where looking for a place local to have a drink and some dinner. We found Birch & Vine. Conveniently located right down the road from Melvin Village Marina. We were pleasantly surprised great atmosphere we loved the bar. The drinks,apps,dinner and dessert was outstanding. The service was 2nd to none we can not wait to go back.“

“We’ve had a home on the lake for more than 50 years and, this evening, is the first time we visited this outstanding, hidden gem, fun, vibrant, wonderful, restaurant. Our server, Pam, is beyond superb… Friendly, great sense of humor, faster than greased lightning, and the food was tremendous. We were in and out in 35 minutes, the food was delivered piping hot to our table, delivered to us faster than we had time to close the menu after ordering, wonderful place and we will return many times again. “We were in town for a wedding at their event barn. We stayed at the Inn and had dinner at the OBistro. All were very nice! Rooms are cozy and clean. Dinner was delicious! The wedding was beautiful. Such a beautiful, quaint, and fun venue! All the staff were friendly and very accommodating!“

“Leslie and her team are phenomenal! Off the charts amazing. We first meet Leslie to taste test our wedding menu, we were pretty boring just saying we wanted tacos, we got to her adorable place and she had different kinds of meat, the fixings, cold corn salad, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and gosh it was all so good. Leslie was very responsive and her team showed up timely and set up and they were so friendly. they served buffet style and cleared tables for us. They packed up all the left over food and told me where they put It and the cleaned up like spotless, you never would’ve known they were there! The food was amazing and I tell everyone about Ballroom Catering! Thank you Leslie and team!“

“First of all -the view here is ah-mazing and alone worth the visit. I could sit here for hours. This is casual dining at its finest. There is a short menu of mostly sandwiches which are very good and served in sturdy cardboard boxes. The family got the chicken salad w chips (very good flavor and decent portion), steak and cheese-good size and ok on taste -maybe slightly on dry side and some pieces a bit chewy), chicken cesare salad -good size, fresh crisp lettuce with maybe a smaller amount of checked than hoped for and lastly the daily flatbread which was buffalo chicken with Alfredo base. Crust was soft and lightly crispy with very mild buffalo sauce (we went back a second time this week for the view and got the flatbread again-this time tomato and artichoke with an Alfredo base). A few in the group had clam chowder which they said was good (not great). You order food at the bar then proceed to pick a table outside (or inside but why miss eating with the view in good weather!!) and place your number card on the table and the meal is brought to you in boxes. There are no refills in drinks. There is a bar but much to my sister’s dismay no frozen drinks. Overall worth the visit and will be back multiple times to sit and admire that view“

“They are now making the best thin crust pizza anywhere. But if you want a classic toasted Italian sub, don't order it here. Maybe they grew up in someplace other than the east coast, but even with coaching, they don't know what "toasted" is, where the bun gets a bit crunchy, the cheese is well melted and the meat is hot and losing its juices to the bun. Like another poster described, very much like a Market Basket sandwich.“

“Delicious bbq, best I’ve had in NH. I’ve so far tried the wings, pulled pork, and brisket, and each was absolutely fantastic. Carolina bbq sauce is competition-worthy. My only complaint is that it’s 2 hours from my house, they should relocate to be closer to me 😀“
