“Had my first bubble tea today. It was very good. Normally I get Poke bowls with ginger dressing. Just started getting tofu as one of my proteins. It is some of the best tofu I’ve had. Was there for a college interview. Without asking, they turned down the music which we appreciated.“

We've dined in and the place is very homey and comfortable. We ordered delivery and when an item was forgotten, they brought it along with an item on the house! The K-Ramen is nice and spicy and delicious! Michin dumplings are a go to dish. The bulgogi and bibimbap and perfectly seasoned, and very tender.“

“We are local but never stopped in before. My wife and I, one daughter and her fiance came in during the week between Christmas and New Years. No one was sitting down but it was a little early and there was a lot of take out order activity the entire time we were there.Three of us ordered a total of 8 different rolls and some rice/noodles for my wife . I has the Crunchy Tempura Shrimp roll and the Cream Cheese roll with crab and I would order both again. Everyone enjoyed their selections and other then the noodles and rice, our plates were clean. My wife took what remained for her noodles and rice home as leftovers. We also ordered the Thai Donut to share for desert, based on other reviewers suggestions, and it was really good.Towards the end of our meal, another 2 groups came in and sat down so we weren't the only ones sitting down to eat. We will come back for sure to get items we liked and try out some others.“

“Bobby Wongs is a welcome addition to the Hawthorne food scene. With a great niche- this soulfully Asian spot is a go to for real and quality stuff! Having them downtown is dangerous only bc I live so close! The chicken original with wok’d rice is a perfect balance of heat and savory. The beef buns ( really all the buns) are a can’t miss- any specials they have are definitely worth a try!“

“Bardonia Oriental is consistently our favorite go-to place for Chinese food. The chicken is most often quite delicious and tender, regardless of the dish that it's placed with. I'm most often preferred chicken with broccoli however I had chicken with Chinese vegetables last night and found it to be absolutely scrumptious! The beef with snow peas is delicious as well. One of our dear friends is Chinese and she refuses to eat Chinese food anywhere but there if that's any indication of the quality of their food. The egg rolls can be hit or miss at times having so much grease they're impossible to consume and other times being so delicious I would eat multiples if I had them! There thick Chinese noodles are rarely greasy and always delicious especially with duck sauce. We prefer the mustard that comes in a container to the hot sauce in a package. I would not recommend requesting sauce on the side as I have done a times because somehow the chicken and broccoli become overdone. Overall, as I've said there isn't any other Chinese restaurant in Rockland County that has earned my respect and is much repeat business as Bardonia Oriental. I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed the crab with cream cheese appetizer! They are very good at following specific orders so if you like your vegetables al dente to preserve the nutrients and simply let them know how long you would like to cook it the vegetables. Otherwise the broccoli tends to be somewhat soggy. With a little bit of accommodation and finagling and won't improved consistency for the egg rolls, I would delightfully add the extra star all the way! If you would like your vegetables to preserve maximum nutritional value, I would recommend requesting them to be a little hard. And definitely not mushy.“

“Two words: soufflé pancakes. Don't leave without trying these! We got the black sesame one and it did not disappoint. The food here overall is great - we had a little bit of everything - fried rice, dumplings, udon, etc. The iced matcha latte was pretty good. There is limited seating and the place was pretty busy. I would prefer takeout from here rather than dining in but maybe except for the soufflé pancakes! Not sure those would be good via delivery. Would recommend for a quick lunch, dessert, or drinks!“

“Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines so I've had a lot of Viet food in my life. I've also been to Vietnam three times. So believe me when I say Saigon Bistro has really good Viet food! The grilled pork was delicious and juicy. Spring rolls were crispy and perfectly cooked. Summer rolls were also good. We also got the sweet corn pudding which we liked too. Oh service is great as well. We'll be back many times.“

“I wish they had vegan options and more vegetarian options. I used to love Bonchon before I stopped eating meat. I got the fried rice without meat and eggs and it was just ok. The vegetable dumplings had a crunchy exterior but the veggies inside were mushy which gives me the impression they aren’t made in house. “My family and I had such a wonderful experience tonight. We highly recommend the scallion pancakes, bao buns, shrimp tacos, burgers and buttermilk chicken sandwich. The cocktails and atmosphere were top notch. We look forward to returning to try their desserts.“

“I had the salmon sushi lunch special. It was 3 salmon sashimi, 3 salmon sushi, and a salmon avocado roll. It was tasty and very well put together by the sushi chef. The host/cashier/waitress was very competent and courteous. The restaurant is 3 tables, but takeaway is always an option. The miso was way better than most and a nice portion. My wife had the 3 roll lunch. I snapped a photo, the sushi chef did a very nice job. I will probably return and have the same thing, it was good. They have some Chinese options as well, which we may try in the future.“

“I went to Kwan Thai for Mothers day Dinner. Not only the food was incredibly delicious, the staff was wonderful. They accommodated all 12 people of us very well. Ambiance is dark though, whereas i prefer places that have more natural light.We got their grilled liempo (of course!), shrimp sinigang and grilled bangus. Everything complimented each other - the savoriness of the pork and the warm and sour soup of the sinigang. The fish was nicely cooked and we loved the veggie toppings. We were so full but still decided to get the halo-halo anyway haha Ive had better halohalo though; theirs was little ube ice cream and the ice is not fine. Its pieces of ice that you have to crunch with your teeth rather than that melt in your mouth shaved ice so we’ll probably skip that next time. Overall its one hearty meal over here.“

Really easy trip there, you can take catch the bus right on the corner to and from port authority!
